Job Description :
In this position you will manage the organization of a warehouse space and aid in maintaining the overall organization of a laboratory space. Included in this would be owning and assisting with 5S efforts throughout the lab building.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Organize existing, incoming, and outgoing hardware and consumables materials. This will include operation of a forklift, pallet jack, and/or hand trucks.
• Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures and complete documentation requirements for materials.
• Assist in lab cleaning maintenance including garbage disposal, sweeping/mopping of floors, toolbox orderliness.
• Own and/or assist with 5S efforts throughout the lab and warehouse space.
• Implement best practices for organization, inventory, and safety.
Experience:
• General warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience handling materials (chemicals) is a plus.
• Experience with computers and scanning equipment is a plus.
• Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers) is a plus.
• Experience with forklift is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
• Must be able to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time (involving walking, stooping,

What needs to be done?
Deliver complete kitted parts to Large Project Team MembersWork with warehouse, schedulers, team leads, supervisors, and purchasing to ensure kits are complete Understand the schedule from our ERP System/Work Orders and kit jobs accordingly Organize and put away parts in a manner so they are easy to find and cycle count Ability to hold to 5S principles and organize WIP (Work in Process)
