Summary:
Prepares product for systems level assembly to include unpacking, set-up assembly, final packaging and repair as required.
Responsibilities:
* Accesses the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment
* Verifies kits, enters Batch lot information, package and label accessory items according to documented instructions
* Uses appropriate mats and all required tooling
* Checks equipment (torque wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) to ensure proper performance
* Uses manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision
* May assemble a variety of systems integration subassemblies
* Notifies leadership of any shut down situations
* Enters data into Process Feedback System (PFS) and link subassemblies to final unit
* Enters quantities into Operations Complete (Baan) when required
* All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
* Mentor and assist lesser qualified operators
* Build subassemblies and add labels per manufacturing instructions and schematic drawings
* Perform systems integration specific hand solder and inspection operations per documented instructions
* Perform F-cert function to ensure final units have passed through all necessary operations
* Perform final inspection of unit to ensure there are no visible defects or finger prints and wipe down unit as needed
* Add user manuals, accessory packs, cables, labels, etc. per documented instructions
* May assist manufacturing engineering in basic prototype and pre-production builds
* Use manufacturing routings and process instructions under moderate supervision
* Mentor other co-workers in assembly activities

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayfield, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Job the Assembler is responsible for hands-on assembling of electrical and mechanical sub- and final assemblies while following safe work practices. duties-
Must have- JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of production policies, processes, procedures, and equipment. Knowledge of quality standards: ISO, GMP, and OSHA Rules and Regulations. Regulatory Training (ISO). Ability to read and interpret simple assembly bills of material and drawings. Ability to work in a team environment. Effective manual dexterity and eye hand coordination. Effective verbal and written communication skills. May be required to obtain an equipment operator certification. Ability to perform rework. Ability to operate assembly equipment. Effective organization skills. Effective interpersonal skills.
Working Hours: 1st shift starts at 6:30 am - must have reliable transportation and able to start at 4:30 am if needed in case of OT
Pay Rate: $10 per hour
Duration- 12/23/2016 to 12/22/2017
