Advise management of adverse manufacturing and/or equipment conditions and issues that are affecting production and/or safety.
Identify overdue or potentially overdue work orders and alert managers.
Adhere to all established health and safety rules.
Constantly review current manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Recommend changes to eliminate waste and to promote cost reductions without sacrificing quality.
Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, work orders, procedures and follows verbal directions. Assists in the creation of work procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot daily routine problems.
Computer literacy. Entry level knowledge of the MRP system.
Works closely with the PENG group.
Communicates well with others in the facility.

We are currently seeking an Assembly Technician to join our growing Production team! As an Assembly Technician at KCF Technologies, you'll have the opportunity to work on highly collaborative team in one of the most exciting fields in technology- right in the heart of Bellefonte, PA! The ideal candidate must be able to work out of our Bellefonte, PA Production Center, and be a result-oriented team player who is driven by precision, accuracy, and follow-through. As an assembler, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.

Essential Functions:
Performs a wide variety of routine and non-routine electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.
Adjusts, aligns and/or performs "go-no go" tests using test fixtures or non-diagnostic electronic testing devices.
Validates design, fabrication and set up of assemblies.
Applies advanced skills to wire, assemble, test, troubleshoot, and calibrate moderately complex equipment and sub-assemblies. Areas of expertise include electrical interconnect, mechanical, pneumatic, fluid flow, or vacuum technologies.
Disassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes, reassembles and tests units as required.
Follows work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering specifications, sketches, assembly shop and production operations sheets, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to construct electromechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and components.
Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment. Follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices.
Edits and provides feedback to moderately complex reports and/or manufacturing procedures.
Completes other tasks or special projects as assigned by KCF leadership
Qualifications:
Highly organized and self-managed
Basic computer skills (knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred)
5+ years of electronic manufacturing and assembly experience
IPC J-STD-001 soldering certified preferred
IPC/WHMA-A-620 Cable and Wire Harness certified preferred
IPC-7711/7721 Rework, modification and repair of electronic assemblies certified preferred
Work Environment & Conditions:
Ability to walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time
Ability to stand or sit while maintaining alertness for several hours at a time
Must be able to lift or carry up to 20 pounds in weight
Position may require bending, leaning, balancing, and crouching
Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate
Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency

Job Description
Develops skill to read and interpret blueprints. Prepares, assembles, and repairs various types of oilfield products. Under minimal supervision, performs welding applications within one or more work teams. Performs visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications. Helps facilitate the team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving welding problems that enhance through-put within the work team. Responsible for supporting the team and team's objectives. Required to pass periodic welding tests and qualifications in compliance with qualification procedures.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Assemble multiple components into completed skidded packages.
Selects fabrication equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding procedures.
Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
May assemble parts by bolting.
Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts. In some cases, fabrication equipment may be uses to perform the function above such as plate rolling machines, plate cutting machines, cutting torch or other welding fabrication equipment.
Assembling piping on skidded vessels, threaded/non-threaded.
Measuring, pipe wrenching threaded pipe.
Set-up/run RT & UT Quality Vessel Weld Processes - 3 (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW).
Set-up/run RT Quality Pipe Weld - All Positions (6G).
Set-up/run UT Quality Nozzle Welds - All positions (6G).
Set-up/run Carbon Arc Gouging.
Able to make any UT or RT Weld Repair.
Clean and stamp all welds.
Set-up/run all structural non-code welds.
Know how to run all welding equipment.
Ability to read drawings, WPS's/PQR's.
Knowledge of PT, MT, UT, RT methods.
Ability to make correct decisions.
Speed of accomplishing tasks.
Ability to work safely.
Average Percent of weld repairs -
Skills/Knowledge
Must have a strong understanding of how to interpret and use blueprints, welding specifications and welding procedures.
Must be able to use and read welding measuring devices to include and not limited to squares, levels, and tape measures.
Able to operate air tools.
Knowledge of welding processes.

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent diploma.
Successful completion of welding tests and qualifications.
