1. Follows complex, sequenced work instructions and performs multiple job tasks within specified cycle times and responsibilities at various workstations.

2. Performs verification of part numbers, supplier quality, and quality checks to ensure parts are meeting quality criteria.

3. Performs quality checks through the use of multiple tools and records results.

4. Resets, re-starts, and performs minor adjustments to production equipment as directed.

5. Performs required preventive equipment maintenance.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for production assembly of integrated optical parts Responsible for performing assembly/DFAB processes and minor troubleshooting of tools to ensure production quality standards are met.Ensure compliance with documented procedures Report production and tool issues to Production Team, Assembly/DFAB Engineering Team and Management
Your Key Responsibilities Would Include:
Setup and run multiple automated assembly/DFAB equipment Meet assembly/ DFAB priority and on-time schedule and goals within PIC department Able to work cohesively and closely with other team members Be able to follow specifications and procedures documentations Employees are required to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Repetitive motion and Multi-tasking is essential part of the job In order to get from one workstation to another, employees are required to stand and walk for extended periods of time (about 10 hours) in the assembly area.Steady hand movement and hand-eye coordination is a must as employees are required to handle and load/unload small and delicate microelectronic parts on the assembly/DFAB tools Able to perform 3rd optical inspection and assembly work on small components using Low Power Stereo Microscope and 2nd optical inspection using High Power Microscope over a reasonable period Perform computer data entry (EQDAS Transactions) Experience in manual and automated die-attach is a plus Experience in manual and automated Au wire bonder is a plus Processing of optoelectronic devices in the DFAB (Cleanroom environment) Inspects semiconductor wafers/PICs using microscope, to identify processing defects and reporting to engineering group Cleaving wafers to PICs using precision tools Places wafers/PIC on stage of microscope, using tweezers or vacuum wand.Inspect surface of wafer and test patterns on wafers, using microscope, and compares wafers to specifications to verify that wafers/PIC meet company specifications Informing management and engineers of any unexpected results Adhering to Fab safety and cleanliness guidelines Accurately communicate tool and lot status to colleagues on the ensuing shift
