Job Description: The purpose of this role is to meet or exceed the patient's expectations by assessing our patient's needs, assigning priorities, and triaging the information to the appropriate resources.
A Day in the Life as a Bilingual Customer Service Representative:
This role works directly with patients, assessing our patient needs, assigning priorities, and triaging the information to the appropriate resources. The Bilingual Customer Service Representative will be able to function in a multidisciplinary team to provide information about the services that are offered by Patient Services.
Act as first point of contact with patients by carefully evaluating the purpose of the call, carefully assessing their purpose, prioritizing their handling, and triaging the calls if indicated. Maintain information regarding Patient Services initiatives and explain them to our customers when appropriate.
Enroll new customers to Patient Services.
Record activities in the patient database and follow up to secure services (such as product training, mailing of promotional materials, etc.) for our customers by contacting physician's offices, pharmacies, and other external entities to ensure patient's needs are being met.
Complete various special projects as required
Requirements
Qualifications to be a Bilingual Customer Service Representative:
Previous work experience in Specialty Pharmacy or Customer Service
Professional level skills in computer use, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, email, web-based applications and key boarding skills
Experience working with people in situations that are high-pressure and time-sensitive (either telephone or face-to-face), and that involve solving problems, making decisions, using excellent judgment and “customer service” skills. This can be obtained through a combination of work experience and post high school education, and need not be obtained in a traditional “customer service” setting
Strong ability to multi-task and strong time management skills
Ability to function in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Dependable and strong work ethic
Ability to accept and implement feedback and coaching
Bilingual in both English and Spanish
Specific type of experience preferred:
Experience working with databases (CRM preferable) or a tracking system; Salesforce CRM experience
Experience working in a health care/pharmaceutical industry environment
Understanding of challenges associated with patients' medical condition

This role is responsible for leading the daily tasks associated with the company's Patient Solutions call monitoring, scoring, and reporting as well as system data entry quality. Within this role, the Quality Assurance Specialist serves customers by identifying, analyzing, and developing improvements in productivity, quality, internal team relationships, and customer service. The Quality Assurance Specialist regularly provides support to the department managers and director to effectively maintain program operations and goals.
Conduct a minimum of 8 quality reviews per associate per month. Monitor processes including call handing to ensure program KPIs and established quality guidelines are met.
Auditing case records to ensure proper charting and interactions are documented appropriately against the established quality guidelines.
Prepare quality score reports by associate, team and/or program for management review on a weekly and monthly basis.
Identify service trends and collaborate with management to ensure and promote adherence to Patient Solutions and support guidelines within assigned areas.
SME for all aspects of the program(s) to determine areas of concern as well as opportunities to streamline processes and eliminate errors.
Upon notification of program enhancements, assist with developing associate training materials and participate in training sessions ensuring associates understand how the program enhancement will impact the quality review/score.
Monitoring program AE's and present findings to management for immediate review and reconciliation.
Providing support to program team on periodic department audits.
Additional responsibilities as needed based on department, program, and project requirements.
Requirements
Previous call center experience participating in quality call and system audit performance reviews preferred.
Previous experience in patient support/patient assistance and/or financial access programs preferred.
Bilingual - Spanish preferred.

Overview:
This role is responsible for leading the daily tasks associated with the company's copay assistance programs. Within this role, the Quality Assurance Specialist serves customers by identifying, analyzing, and developing improvements in productivity, quality, client relationships, and customer service. The Quality Assurance Specialist regularly provides support to the department manager and occasionally Senior Leadership in order to effectively maintain program operations and goals.
Monitoring associate calls and providing feedback to program managers on associate strengths/coaching opportunities
Reviewing associate case records to ensure program metrics are met
Preparing call center reports and tracking service trends
Participating in the creation and maintenance of program SOP's
Assisting with user acceptance testing of program platform (eCase, iAssist)
Monitoring program AE's
Requirements
+5 years specialty mail order pharmacy experience
Experience in patient support/pharmacy related setting
Ability to manage time effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Attention to detail, and working knowledge of internal CRM and workflows
Effective communication skills: written and interpersonal

The purpose of this position is to help patients get access to the medications and therapies that they need.
This role works directly with healthcare providers & insurance plans/payers to gather information about a patient's insurance and the coverage provided for a specific pharmaceutical product. The Insurance Verification Specialist will support the healthcare providers addressing questions regarding coding and billing and navigating complex reimbursement issues. This position also provides support for Prior Authorizations (PA) for an assigned caseload and helps navigate the appeals process to access medications.
Ensure cases move through the process as required in compliance with company requirements and the organization's defined standards and procedures; in a manner that provides the best level of service and quality
Conduct benefit investigations for patients by making outbound phone call to payers to verify patient insurance benefit information, navigate complex reimbursement barriers and seek resources to overcome the barriers
Verify patient specific benefits and document specifics including coverage, cost share and access/provider options
Identify any coverage restrictions and details on how to expedite patient access
Document and initiate prior authorization process and claims appeals
Report any reimbursement trends or delays in coverage to management
Requirements
In-depth understanding and experience with Buy & Bill, Major Medical & Pharmacy Benefit Coverage.
2 to 5 years of benefit investigation involving the analysis and interpretation of insurance coverage
3 to 5 years of experience interacting with healthcare providers in regard to health insurance plan requirements
Excellent verbal communication skills and grammar
Computer literacy/competence
Salesforce system experience preferred
