Job Description
1. Responsible for the completion of requested property accounting functions by assigned due dates.
2. Inspects apartments after move out to determine the security deposit dispositions.
3. Keeps abreast of property conditions, and to makes suggestions and initiates action to make needed improvements.
4. Assures compliance with all regulations for funding sources (e.g., LIHTC, RTC, Project Based Section 8, Public Housing etc.).
5. Give direction and delegate tasks to property staff. May be responsible for more than one property.
6. Lease apartments when needed. This includes but is not limited to the following duties:
a. Completes reference and credit checks to assure AHA leasing guidelines are followed. .
b. Receive and process completed applications including the determining of eligibility under the program guidelines.
c. Prepares lease documents, addendums, and community policies for all residents.
d. Coordinate move-in of new residents.
e. Inspect move-ins to assure staff and vendors are performing their jobs in such as manner as to meet company standards
f. Complete unit inspection with resident on or before move-in.
g. Advise resident of proper operation of appliances.
h. Provide Resident Handbook to new residents, outlining the community policies, location of schools, stores and important phone numbers.
i. Performs follow-up of any concerns or additional work orders that were noted in the move in inspection or lease signing process.
7. Monitors advertising to assure full occupancy. Keeps waiting list(s) current.
8. Enforces and follows all Fair Housing rules and regulations.
9. Delivers any posting to residents
10. Is available to take all resident complaints, including but not limited to: repair requests, resident relations, towing, and resident assistance.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Housing Program Regulations and Compliance including experience with the following programs: Tax Credits, Project-based Section 8, and Public Housing.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid Drivers License, and be current with all necessary insurance.
Solid knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
Solid leasing and resident relation skills
Solid computer skills
Minimum of one year of experience
Ability to give direction and appropriately delegate responsibility to staff and to promote the willingness of a response.
The ability to troubleshoot, recognizes potential problems, and offer alternatives.

Job Description
Performs a broad range of administrative tasks in support of the Assisted Housing Staff. Provides back up coverage to the Receptionist. Maintains overall filing system for Department. Assists staff with filing.
1. Provides assistance and program information to applicants in person and over the phone including assistance with completing forms.

What You Will Do
The Office of Financial Empowerment was created in 2021 legislation to grow the financial resilience and well-being of Coloradans through community derived-goals and strategies. The Director of the Office of Financial Empowerment (Program Management II) will lead the Office and implement the goals and objectives of the Office. The position will identify and promote safe and affordable financial products and those that may undermine financial stability, and will partner with other state agencies, local and tribal governmental bodies, community organizations, financial institutions, local service providers, philanthropic organizations, and other organizations as necessary to achieve the purposes of the office.
The Director of the Office of Financial Empowerment will be responsible for:
Plan, direct and implement the statutory mandates of the state-wide Office of Financial Empowerment.
Develop and promote:
methods, programs, and policies to increase access to safe and affordable financial products
tools and resources that advance, increase, and improve Colorado residents' financial management, including strategies for debt management and reduction, increasing savings, and creating and retaining assets that promote personal financial stability
Work with stakeholders, to identify and increase access to safe and affordable credit-building loans and financial products, safe and affordable banking products with low fees and easy account access
Partner with and support organization of local community efforts to define and lead tailored financial resilience strategies based on local context, priorities, and expertise from those serving these communities
Establish and lead a statewide Council to assist in defining, creating and increasing access to ownership, financial well-being, and safe and affordable banking and financial services that help improve the financial stability of unbanked and underbanked individuals.
Draft annual report on the state of affordable banking access in Colorado, the activities of the Office of Financial Empowerment, and local partnerships in implementing the objective of the office
Supervise one professional staff member

Job Description
This position is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a self-sufficiency program at AHA for families receiving rental subsidies. Once established, the Self-Sufficiency Case Manager will carry a caseload of 20-25 families, working with them to identify goals that lead income progression and helping families to break the cycle of poverty. The person in this position will resource these families and connect them to various community agencies and opportunities that increase the likelihood of successful outcomes leading to greater self-sufficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Research and identify best practices for the development and implementation of a self-sufficiency program.
Develop policies and procedures for the self-sufficiency program from initial application to exit planning (e.g., eligibility criteria, determining participation expectations, selection process, intake and orientation, case management, savings incentive program, etc).
Maintain a caseload of 20-25 once fully implemented.
Develop a case management plan with participants including objectives, goals, and outcomes.
For families who are eligible, connect residents to appropriate mainstream benefits offered through governmental programs.
Identify realistic outcomes for the self-sufficiency program and develop the tools to track those outcomes.
Provide monthly, quarterly and annual statistical reports that also measure individual household as well as program outcomes.
Identify and develop partnerships with community resources (e.g., healthcare, mental health, etc.) and supportive services (e.g., child care, transportation, education, job training, employment counseling, financial literacy, etc) that will assist residents to achieve their goals.
Collaborate with and communicate effectively with residents, AHA staff members and community colleagues.
Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field preferred (e.g., Social Work, Education, Psychology, Human Services, etc.). Equivalent experince could be considered.
Experience in organizing and coordinating variety of events for diverse groups.
Knowledge and experience in case management.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong organizing and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and excellent customer services skills.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Teams.

**Job Description**
The Computational Modeling group in the BEST directorate at the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) is seeking an summer undergraduate or post-undergraduate research intern to perform computational modeling and data analysis to enable optimization and scale-up of catalytic bioenergy processes.
The intern will work closely with other computational scientists and experimentalists to perform, analyze, and validate simulations of biomass and other feedstocks undergoing catalytic and thermochemical conversion processes using process scale models.
Responsibilities include:
+ Performing simulations using high-fidelity Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and reduced order models of transport and reactive processes within catalytic reactor systems
+ Implementing kinetic schemes into reduced order models and performing optimization routines to fit kinetic parameters
+ Analyzing validation experiments
+ Programming scripts to analyze results from simulations
+ Providing regular written and oral progress updates at project meetings
+ Working safely and independently in a laboratory setting
+ Planning and executing research in collaboration with other researchers

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs specialized corrective and preventative maintenance and inspections work on Town owned infrastructure, including water line valve exercising, fire hydrant maintenance operation and repair, combination air/vacuum release valve inspection, pressure reducing valve inspection and maintenance, water line flushing, repair and maintenance of buried and broken valve boxes and manholes, and assisting with finished water storage tank cleaning and inspections.
Repairs and replaces damaged lines and piping. Locates and excavates leaks and breaks. Performs pipe tapping for new water and sewer service lines. Work may be in response to emergencies such as line breaks, sewer backups, and mechanical failures.
Conducts closed circuit television (CCTV) routine and response driven inspection and maintenance of sewer lines, sewer manholes, stormwater lines, manholes, curb inlets and ponds.
Tracks maintenance work, creates accurate reports, documents work orders and accurate condition assessments using asset management system to ensure optimum performance of buried infrastructure. Creates maintenance orders and performs asset repairs. Records and tracks materials, hours on job and records key information concerning asset condition before and after maintenance.
Collects bacteriological samples for new waterline connections. Collects and tests chlorine samples to evaluate presence and levels of disinfectant in response to customer concerns and other issues. Submits samples to state lab for compliance.
Assists with locating Town owned infrastructure, including pipe segments, underground valves, fiber optic cable by utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) based mapping system, as-built archive research, and highly advanced locate equipment.
Supports and assists the backflow team by performing hydrant and backflow inspections for bulk water permits.
Under general guidance of senior staff, operates valves in accordance with emergency operations, planned shutdowns for new construction or rehabilitation and flushing for water quality concerns and pipeline maintenance.
Performs acoustic leak detection operations by utilizing specialized equipment including, leak correlation equipment, leak noise loggers, and ground microphones to identify and repair sources of non-revenue water.
Enters confined spaces utilizing proper personal protection equipment (PPE), related safety equipment and entry permits.
Performs general construction work.
Operates heavy equipment at work sites under the guidance of more senior staff including backhoe, skid steer, loader, dump truck, or jet/vac truck.
Operates, inspects and maintains sewage lift stations, force mains, and sewer lines.
Shares on-call duty on a rotating schedule. Responds to after-hours calls for service related to Castle Rock Water or related emergencies.

This position is part of the Town's snow removal program. This will include scheduled on-call responsibilities through the winter months to remove snow using a 4-wheel drive pickup and/or heavy equipment. Snow removal shifts are typically 12 hours.

The Archivist -Exhibitions & Education reports to the Manager of Local History and Genealogy department. This is a non-exempt, part-time, seasonal position limited to 1,300 hours annually. Under the supervision of the Pool Manager, Assistant Pool Manager, and Head Lifeguard maintains safety at the pool facility, corrects infractions by patrons of the pool, and assists in keeping the swimming facility clean. Responsible for constant attention to assigned guarding areas and efficiently performing emergency procedures as necessary. Most work is performed in a swimming pool environment with occasional work performed in an office environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Uses proper guarding skills and procedures.
* Performs emergency procedures when necessary.
* Provides constant attention to assigned guarding areas.
* Enforces program, facility, and departmental rules and regulations.
* Maintains cordial relations with public and sets example in general conduct for staff.
* Uses safe work practices while on the job, including following proper and established procedures in the use of pool equipment and wearing appropriate and/or required safety and personal protective gear.
IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS:
* Serves as a liaison between lifeguard staff and upper pool management.
* Assists in training, and monitoring performance of lifeguards.
* Helps to identify and project necessary lifeguard coverage.
* Monitors pool staff and identifies deficiencies in performance.
* Addresses concerns with staff directly or reports to pool management.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* May perform the duties of similar classifications of an equal or lower pay grade.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical standards an employee must meet to perform the essential job duties with or without a reasonable accommodation include, but are not limited to:
* Work involves frequent kneeling, bending, and lifting in designated aquatic facilities and related facilities.
* Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
* Far and near visual acuity to read reports, manuals, written materials, monitor/observe patrons.
* Ability to hear verbal instructions and warning signals.
* Ability to swim 150 meters front crawl and 150 meters breaststroke.

* Ability to perform active/passive rescues and assists.
* Ability to keep accurate activity records.
* Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
* Ability to listen, communicate, and work effectively with a diverse group of people.
* Ability to work successfully with and provide good customer service to supervisors, other City employees, the public and other agencies and organizations.
* Ability to perform all the job duties in a safe manner
In addition to the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above, this position requires the following:
* Be 15 years of age or older.
* CPR, First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, and Lifeguarding certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
* A swim test requiring demonstrated proof of swimming ability and rescue skills will be administered prior to appointment to position.
* This position involves regular exposure to dust, noise, inclement weather, temperature extremes, chemically treated pool water, and extended direct exposure to the sun.
All required licenses and certifications must be maintained throughout the term of employment. Failure to obtain or maintain licenses and certifications may result in demotion or termination.
Due to Federal and State Criminal Justice System access requirements, classifications that access and maintain criminal justice information may also be required, as a condition of employment, to not have been convicted of and/or have pending charges of a felony or misdemeanor crime that would deny or otherwise restrict access to criminal justice information.
