Position Description:
PingWind is seeking the right fit to join a team of Cyber professionals as they support critical functions to provide Cyber Security for the Navy's network. Depending on the position hired to fill, you will be ensuring the highest level of cyber security by developing and utilizing penetration tools to seek out and exploit network vulnerabilities as a white hat hacker. Work is performed in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), DAHLGREN DIVISION in Virgina Beach as it conducts Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E), analysis, systems engineering, integration, and certification of complex Department of Defense systems.
Primary Responsibilities:

The ships and installed SURTASS mission equipment are designed for extended duration deployment and independent operations in remote geographic areas; self-sufficiency in operations and maintenance is an important mission objective. It is intended that operations and maintenance be performed on board vessels and in depot maintenance facilities with the objective of maximizing operational readiness.
In performance of this mission, V2X is seeking an experienced Quality Analyst to work at the Integrated Undersea Surveillance System (IUSS) Operations Support Center (IOSC) on Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek - Fort Story, VA (JEBLCFS) 40-hours per week.

Major Job Activities:
As a Quality Analyst of the SURTASS Operation Center (SOC) and the SURTASS team, you will be responsible for the following:
+ Reports to the SURTASS Program Manager, but will also have a reporting path directly to the Government (COR, Technical Lead, Functional Managers).
+ Document adherence and compliance to both internal and external documents, references, and requirements.
+ Develop policy and procedure to support contract execution in accordance with this SOW.
+ Conduct Root Cause Analysis, as needed or directed, to facilitate process improvement.
+ Track CDRL delivery and compliance.
+ Track performance per the QRP.
+ Track and assist completing corrective actions from audits, surveillances, and RCAs.
Qualifications

As a **Software Test and Evaluation Engineer** you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining Joint Simulation Bus (JBUS) in supporting distributed training across Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) and the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE). JBUS provides the base interoperability structure for the interoperability new and existing systems to participate in distributed training. Continuous development and improvements are required for the effectiveness of system of plug-ins, manipulators, and filters to ensure the broadest and highest possible quality of service for the user community.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, strategies, and cases to evaluate software performance and functionality.
+ Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve software defects. Implement automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline the testing process.
+ Conduct performance, regression, and integration testing to ensure software meets business requirements.
+ Document and report test results, providing actionable insights to improve software quality.
+ Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance testing methodologies.
+ Monitor and upgrade as necessary all existing plug-ins, manipulators, and filters.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Software development experience in classified and unclassified environments, specifically related to development of Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) and Joint Simulation Bus (JBUS)
+ Experience with Open Service Gateway Initiative (OSGI), Jenkins, SonarQube
+ Knowledge of systems design/development lifecycle (SDLC), software systems theory and engineering principles, network/systems design and implementation, virtualization, and cloud technologies
+ Must hold one of the following **IAT Level II Certifications** : CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP.
+ Experience with Agile development methodologies and familiarity with web development and architecture.
+ Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot), Gradle/Maven, SQL, PostgreSQL, Sencha Ext JS (web dev in general JavaScript/HTML/CSS)
