What You'll Do
Our Global Businesses & Functions (GBF) People Team has an opportunity for a Senior Director to join our HR Delivery team, focusing on the North America region.
In this role, you will lead the HR delivery and advisory team that supports staff working in global businesses and functions across NAMR - 1500+ BCGers in Global Services, Vantage, PAM&O and BCGU, located across 30+ BCG consulting offices in North America and Costa Rica. This team also manages full service HR Operations for our two global hub offices in Boston: Global Services (GS Boston) and Advanced Capability Center (ACC Boston).
You will oversee a team of ~10 HR Directors, Managers, and Specialists who provide day-to-day HR advisory, employee lifecycle management, and service execution for staff across the region. You will ensure high-quality, consistent, compliant HR delivery and act as a senior escalation point for employees, people managers, and business leaders. In addition, this role will set strategic priorities for the team and drive change efforts in line with BCG's overall strategic agenda, adoption of new tech and tools, and evolution for a future-ready workforce.
You will be a key member of both the NAMR leadership team (e.g., NAMR HR Leaders and North America Business Leadership Team - NABLT) and the GBF People Leadership Team (PLT), representing the needs of your stakeholders and partnering cross-functionally to provide seamless and scalable HR delivery.
You will also contribute to and lead select global initiatives that innovate and improve tools, processes, and operating model evolution across the broader GBF People organization.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
* Leading HR advisory and service delivery across a large, dispersed employee population, ensuring consistent and high-quality experiences across offices and cohorts.
* Acting as a trusted escalation partner to employees and people managers, using sound judgment to resolve complex HR, employee relations, and situational challenges.

What You'll Bring
* 14+ years of experience in HR advisory, HR operations, employee relations, or People Team leadership, ideally in a global or matrixed environment; OR 10+ years in consulting-related HR & People, Learning, Recruiting, or operations.
* Experience leading HR delivery or operations teams serving broad and complex populations.
* Strong understanding of US HR policies, regulatory frameworks, and labor practices.
* Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships and influence across teams.
* Experience working in a virtual or geographically dispersed organization.

Who You'll Work With
You will lead the NAMR GBF HR Delivery Team-including HR Directors, Managers, and Specialists who own day-to-day HR advisory and operations across the region. You will work closely with:
* NAMR Regional HR Team, contributing as a member of the NAMR HR Leaders
* GBF People Team, participating on the GBF PLT and collaborating with HR leaders across regions
* Local HR teams across NAMR offices to ensure alignment, handoffs, and consistency
* Local office leaders and business leadership as a regional representative for GBF HR topics
* NAMR and Global People COEs (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Geo Mobility, Employee Relations) to ensure policy alignment and integrated delivery

* The base salary range for this role in Boston is $195,000 - $238,333
This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.
In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 45% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 10%. Senior Directors/Executive Directors are also eligible for a Firm Performance Bonus.

As a Procurement Sourcing Senior Manager, you will bring world-class sophistication to our procurement activities on a consistent basis.

Compensation Information
The base salary range for this role is $195,000-$215,000. Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, firm performance bonus, contributions to BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package.

* BA degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Natural Language Processing
* 2+ years of experience developing and experimenting with LLMs
* 3+years of experience developing AI/ML technologies within large and business critical applications
Experience & Skills (Mandatory)
* Proficiency in Python and all associated DS libraries and frameworks
* Strong knowledge in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing
* Experience with leveraging, training and fine-tuning Foundation Models, including multimodal inputs and outputs
* Strong experience working with key LLM models APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic) and LLM Frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex)
* Experience with multi-agent frameworks/systems and an understanding of multi-agent systems and their applications in complex problem-solving scenarios.
* Experience with unstructured.io or similar libraries for handling various document formats and extracting structured information from unstructured data.
* Expertise in using LlamaIndex for building and querying knowledge bases, including its data connectors, indexing strategies, and query engines.
* Knowledge of effective text chunking techniques for optimal processing and indexing of large documents or datasets.
* Proficiency in generating and working with text embeddings using models like BERT, GPT, or domain-specific embedding models. Understanding of embedding spaces and their applications in semantic search and information retrieval.
* Experience in constructing and querying knowledge graphs, including technologies like Neo4j or RDF triplestores. Understanding of ontology design and graph-based reasoning.
* Experience with RAG concepts and fundamentals (vector DBs, semantic search, etc.), Expertise in implementing RAG systems that combine knowledge bases with generative AI models.

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.
* The base salary range for this role begins at $144,000.00 in our lowest cost US region and goes up to $176,000.00 in our highest cost US region. Your recruiting contact can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.
In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 16% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
