They are currently seeking a medical technologist to work in both their 700-bed medical center and stand alone reference laboratory operation as a generalist on the evening shift.

Job Summary:

Discover the presence or absence of disease and provide data that help physicians determine the best treatment for the patient. Specialty areas of laboratory medicine include clinical chemistry, hematology, transfusion services, clinical immunology, clinical microbiology, serology and the emerging field of molecular diagnostics.

Skill Requirements:

• Calibrate, operate, troubleshoot and maintain the equipment

• Dexterity and good eye-hand coordination are required to collect and prepare specimens

• Lab safety and infection prevention is of paramount importance

Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

• Performing testing in any and/or all of the following areas of the lab: clinical chemistry, hematology, transfusion services (blood bank), clinical immunology, clinical microbiology, serology, and the emerging field of molecular diagnostics.

• Matching computer orders with specimen labeling; sorting specimens; checking labeling; logging specimens; arranging reports for delivery; Maintaining quality results verify and equipment function, troubleshooting, calibrating equipment and monitoring quality control measures and protocols

• Participating in staff training and educational opportunities; Identifying and communicating abnormal patient conditions reports mandated information to the public health department or other designated officials

• Contributing to a safe and secure environment, following established standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

• Maintaining patient confidence by keeping laboratory information confidential

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in science

• MT(ASCP)/MLS(ASCP) or MT(AMT)

**PDS Tech Inc., is seeking a Bench Technician I in Auburn Hills, MI**

**Overview:**

The Test and Validation Department of the ADAS Business Unit NAFTA conducts system level testing of radar and camera sensors in support of product development for North American OEM projects. This includes meeting OEM Customer performance requirements which are verified through on-road vehicle level (L1) data collection and Bench level (L2) verification testing and comparing this performance against defined Customer requirements.

**Core Responsibilities:**

+ Building wire harnesses and test boxes for bench test systems and vehicle builds.

+ Fabricate brackets to mount ADAS sensors to vehicles.

+ Fabricate brackets to mount data acquisition systems and/or ground truth reference systems in vehicles.

+ Perform functional bench tests of ADAS products and data acquisition systems.

+ He/she will report to and receive training, daily guidance and work packages from the ADAS Supervisors and their staff. Additional support and guidance will be provided by the Contract Company's Team leader.

**Qualifications:**

+ Associates degree in a technical field (preferably automotive).

+ 2+ years' experience in an electrical/electronic test lab environment.

+ Excellent organizational, verbal and written communications skills. The candidate must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English.

+ Computer proficiency with basic computer programs including the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

+ Ability to read/understand electrical schematics.

+ Familiar with automotive hardware, such as switches, relays, power distribution, etc.

+ Proficient with common hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and multimeters.

+ Possess the mechanical ability to build and de-bug wire harnesses and break-out boxes.

+ Well-motivated, self-starter, high integrity, and team player.

+ Able to work in a team environment, flexible, and able to multi task to meet project timing (time management skills)

+ Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

+ Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

+ Logical problem solver with good attention to detail.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ 3+ years' experience in automotive component testing.

+ Component Data analysis post processing; compiling and analysis of test results.

+ ADAS component and feature knowledge.

+ Computerized data logging systems experience.

Responsible for performing all secondary operations using a microscope and hand tools in the production of precision machined parts used in the medical device industry.

Your responsibilities:

* Reads and interprets Process Sheet to determine sequence of secondary production processes.
* Inspects and measures precision metal parts for conformity to specifications.
* Removes burrs from precision metal parts using microscope and hand tools.
* Harperizes precision metal parts as specified on Process Sheet.
* Maintains good housekeeping practices at all times.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle several assignments at one time.
* Uses and operates most hand tools and equipment necessary to perform the job.
* Maintains lot trace ability, log sheets, and good housekeeping practices at all times.
* Maintains a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.

Requirements for the role:

* High school diploma or equivalent and/or vocational training preferred.
* 2 - 4 years manufacturing work experience preferred.
* Ability to use in process inspection tools.
* Ability to occasionally lift 10 - 20 pounds.
* Ability to perform simple machine operations.
* Employee stands, sits and walks frequently.
* Ability to use both hands in a repetitive motion for up to 6 hours per day
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
* Basic problem-solving skills containing few variables
