What you will do Lead final file audits to ensure loan documents are accurate, complete, and compliant. Confirm all PTF/PTD conditions are cleared and approve final funding and wire disbursements. Review and validate settlement statements (Closing Disclosure, HUD-1, etc.). Oversee lien perfection workflow, title recording, and collateral tracking for real estate, vehicles, vessels, etc. Resolve post-closing collateral exceptions (missing titles, unrecorded liens, unfiled UCCs). Manage title companies, filing agents, and third-party vendors against SLAs. Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations, UCC Article 9, and investor guidelines. Implement fraud prevention procedures and deliver perfected packages to servicing. Lead, mentor, and supervise the funding/perfection team to meet volume and SLA targets. Improve processes to reduce funding/perfection cycle times and enhance efficiency. Report on funding volume, cycle times, and exception metrics to senior leadership. Key Accomplishments Successfully funded high volumes of complex collateral loans (e.g., marine, RV, automotive) with 100% compliance. Reduced funding and lien perfection cycle times through process improvements and workflow optimization. Lowered collateral exception and “send-back” rates by enhancing post-closing quality control. What you should have At least 4+ years in loan operations, including 2 or more years in a leadership position managing funding and lien perfection processes. A Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related business field is highly preferred. Proven expertise in specialty collateral finance (e.g., Marine, RV, or Automotive). Expert-level understanding of loan closing documentation, regulatory disclosure requirements, and specific investor funding/perfection guidelines. Purpose and Impact: This is complex professional work supervising and monitoring the work of an assigned group (unit) of workers under the employee's direct supervision. The employee in this position is expected to become familiar with agency contract goals and requirements and to ensure staff performance toward those goals. In addition, knowledge of Florida Child Welfare statutes, administrative code, and operating procedures as well as any additional policy provided by the local Lead Agency, Department of Children and Families Regional Quality Assurance staff or Department memo is necessary for the proper performance of this position. The Case Management Supervisor is required to demonstrate advanced skills in communicating with, motivating, training, and evaluating employees, and is expected to meet regularly with each worker under supervision to mentor and monitor performance. Additional responsibilities include the on-boarding of new staff, the coordination and tracking of required training hours for certification, as well as assessing progress of new case managers in preparation for child welfare certification. Supervisors are expected to participate in the recruitment and hiring of workers for their units and may need to create Employee Improvement Plans to initiate proceedings to address deficiencies in staff performance. Essential Functions: Develops Performance standards and job duty expectations with workers, reviews standards and plans for continuous improvement. Communicates worker's compliance with these expectations on a regular basis. Creates, identifies, and coordinates the activities of newly hired case managers including shadowing experiences, compliance with training requirements, and opportunities for field/classroom training. Reviews each case in unit caseload at a minimum, on a quarterly basis. This review must include a one-on-one discussion with the assigned case manager, recommendations for case progress, documentation of the review and recommendations in the Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) online database. Cases identified as high risk will need a more frequent level of oversight. Monitors and directs the day-to-day work of case managers. This monitoring must include the completion of home visits within required time frames, the completion of required tracking tools, court documentation, staffing packets, family assessments, safety plans, case documentation in FSFN within 48 hours, file maintenance and other required case work in timely manner. Attends/ensures preparation for all unit case staffings, reviews incoming cases, and determines how best to assign new cases within the unit. Reviews and assists with complex cases, provides guidance and support. Reviews work products such as family assessments, home studies, court reports, case plans and case documentation with case managers, and provides consultation and direction to them to ensure appropriateness, clarity, quality, and thoroughness. Identifies performance needs of case managers and other assigned staff, and develops and implements training plans and/or other opportunities for performance improvement. Provides guidance to case managers and other staff by coaching, motivating, training, and providing staff development activities. Identifies and promotes outstanding performance. Participates in court proceedings as necessary, and monitors worker performance in court. Mentors all new case managers in the field each month by participating in a home visit with the case manager and providing the case manager with appropriate feedback after that home visit. These mentoring visits are to be documented by the Supervisor in FSFN within required time frames. Keeps Assistant Program Director and Program Director advised of high risk or problematic cases and arranges for multi-Disciplinary staffings for cases as necessary. Attends program Supervisor meetings as scheduled and shares information gathered with unit workers and other team members. Conducts regular unit meetings with staff to share information, provide training, discuss cases and participate in team building activities.     Closing Manager Miami, FL The Closing Manager is responsible for the oversight, efficiency, and quality control of the entire marine loan closing process, from final underwriting approval through signed documentation submission. This role is a leadership position focused on compliance, process optimization, and managing performance metrics related to speed and accuracy of the closing file. What you will do Manage preparation and review of all final loan documents to match approved terms and meet regulatory requirements. Oversee marine due diligence (surveys, vessel title/registration, insurance, ownership). Coordinate document execution with borrowers, brokers, closing agents, and legal. Serve as the final audit layer to ensure compliance with consumer protection laws and internal credit policy. Direct and prioritize the closing pipeline to meet scheduled closing dates. Recruit, train, and mentor closing staff in complex document review and marine-specific requirements. Develop and enforce standardized procedures and checklists to ensure consistency and reduce risk. Act as the primary escalation point for complex issues, collaborating with underwriting and sales. Analyze and improve key performance metrics, including: Closing Rate Days to Close Send-Back/Error Rate Key Accomplishments Improved Days to Close by streamlining workflows and optimizing team pipeline management. Reduced Send-Back/Error Rate through implementation of standardized procedures and final audit controls. Increased Closing Rate by resolving complex issues quickly and improving coordination between underwriting, sales, and closing teams. Develop and train a high-performing closing team, enhancing accuracy and marine-specific compliance expertise. Led process improvements that reduced operational risk and increased overall closing efficiency. What you should have Minimum of 4+ years of experience in loan closing, with at least 2 years in a management role, preferably within specialty finance (Marine, RV, or Automotive). Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is highly preferred. Expert-level knowledge of boat/yacht titling, registration (state and U.S. Coast Guard documentation), and vessel collateral documentation. Proven ability to manage workflow, set priorities, and lead a detail-oriented, high-volume team under tight deadlines. Proficiency in Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Document Management Systems, and advanced ability to run and analyze performance reports (KPIs). Comprehensive understanding of federal and state lending regulations and the ability to interpret complex legal agreements.
