We prefer candidates who have prior experience or training operating woodworking machines and using hand tools and power tools (tools provided), as well as the ability to visualize and interpret drawings and shop prints, but are willing to train a motivated individual who works hard and learns quickly.

We are seeking a skilled cabinet maker / woodworker. Responsible for general assembly and construction of wood type products, to include millwork, cabinets, frames and trim. The ideal candidate would have experience with laminate, solid surface, painting and installations of commercial / retail projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position's primary duties include:
· Assemble/construct millwork cabinetry and other wood products, such as sign frames and trim
· Ability to read and understand basic shop drawings
· Ability to use and read a tape measure
· Experience working with laminate and veneer finishes.
· Ability to handle and operate equipment, such as; cutoff saw, hand routers and other small hand tools necessary to assembly associated wood product
· Inspect work for accuracy and completeness
· Ability to handle/move product weighing up to 80lbs
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Understanding of safe working practices and general safety guidelines
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and 1-3 years related experience and/or training in the woodworking or cabinet making industry preferred; or equivalent experience will be considered.

Responsibilities
Fabrication & Assembly
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication instructions with precision.
Cut, shape, and assemble materials including wood, acrylic, laminate, and composite panels using power and hand tools.
Apply laminates, veneers, and finishes with attention to detail and durability.
Maintain tight tolerancescutting to 1/32 accuracy.
Integrate low-voltage lighting, display hardware, and digital components into casework and exhibits.
Shop Operations
Uphold RGI Creatives quality standards in all work produced.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Conduct regular tool maintenance and inspect shop equipment for safe operation.
Assist with inventory control and material restocking.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with engineers, project managers, and designers to ensure fabrication aligns with design intent.
Proactively communicate any discrepancies, challenges, or improvements to supervisors.
Support installation teams on-site as needed, including occasional overnight travel for installs and tradeshows (approx. 10%).
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years experience in cabinetmaking, exhibit fabrication, or high-end custom woodworking
Mastery of woodworking tools and machinery (table saws, routers, CNC, drill presses, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Experience in finished carpentry and high-tolerance fabrication work
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand, bend, and twist throughout the workday
Strong math and measurement skills
Excellent communication, organization, and self-management
Commitment to safety protocols and team collaboration
Preferred
Experience with museum, tradeshow, or exhibit industry builds
Familiarity with LED wiring and basic electrical systems
Exposure to sustainable building materials or sensory-inclusive design
