The Business Systems Manager, will have primary responsibility for the administration. planning, implementation, managing, and running a variety of systems across the agency. This includes PSA, ERP, HRIS, and others utilized, ensuring all systems are built and utilized with efficiency and effectiveness, and managing user access.

The ideal candidate will be able to discuss technical system terms with a developer and liaise with agency personnel in creating solutions. In addition, the candidate will work closely with finance, human capital, and other users to ensure all system processes and system improvements are customized for and designed for the users.

This position requires strong functional analytical skill, and technical competence working with business software applications. A Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized individual who understands the importance of maintaining consistency and standardization.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Be the liaison/primary contact between the Finance, Human Capital, Operations and other agency users and the system's technical teams Be the IT administrator for all systems, responsible for user access levels Convert process improvements recommendations to actionable functional requirements Work with external vendors and IT to develop data integration interfaces to internal and external systems Build Quality Assurance efforts (test planning and execution) for periodic releases and new systems implementations Create systems documentation including, business requirements documents, functional designs, user manuals, test scripts, test plans and training materials Assist users in large data migration efforts as a result of acquisitions and/or systems upgrades and implementation Inform management of potential problems and identifies problem trends Ensure all systems and processes are documented in accordance with SOC compliance regulations. Ability to investigate, analyze and problem solve as well as clearly communicate results through written and verbal communications Ability to be proactive and solution-oriented with the ability to think ahead to make proposals and recommendations to deliver solutions Ability to be patient and understanding with the ability to explain complicated technical situations in simple terms to users of all levels of management Work with the Finance teams on all offline reporting to ensure reporting is up-to-date with revenue recognition standards. Assist with general HelpDesk requests, as needed.


Position requires:


3+ years of experience in the IT space, experience in advertising/marketing agency preferred Experience working with various systems including financial, HRIS and Project Management systems A four-year degree from an accredited university, preferred Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well with end users in various functional areas Embodies a positive and "can do" attitude Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up Works well under pressure Capable of handling confidential information in a professional and discreet manner Works independently and be proactive in finding solutions

As part of Webster Bank's sales and marketing activities, the Commercial Bank utilizes PrecisionLender - a loan pricing software solution that enables the day-to-day execution of hundreds of bankers. PrecisionLender provides Relationship Managers with real-time loan pricing insights that drive increased profitability for the bank but also a more robust relationship view for colleagues. The system is to be leveraged by all relationship officers and select portfolio management teams during the sales process.

The Commercial Bank is hiring a Business Systems Manager - Loan Pricing to be responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution, administration, and maintenance of the loan pricing software. The individual will work to improve both the product's usability and employee engagement with the product through process improvements, system enhancements, and user training. The position calls for significant collaboration with the Commercial Bank's various business units and will provide high visibility into all levels of the organization.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

* Serving as the front line (colleague facing) subject matter expert -- requires an intimate understanding of the bank's implementation of PrecisionLender including the modules and data fields utilized, the data sources required to effectively operate the software, and the core data outputs derived from the software
* Ongoing maintenance and improvement of templates / custom fields
* Ongoing access control maintenance -- includes approving access for new joiners and colleagues that transition roles; monitoring of user access levels in conjunction with business unit leaders
* Building out internal knowledge collateral -- includes the creation and maintenance of user procedures; includes creation of succinct training for system navigation / foundational tasks that underpin most colleague's daily usage
* Collaborate with various divisions around the bank -- this position will work with several teams to ensure daily system usage and monthly/quarterly risk reporting are in line with bank requirements
* Bank-wide communication -- encompasses proactive outreach to all system users and stakeholders regarding system enhancements, product issues, and short-term impacts to system performance; also includes direct communication with vendor and/or internal IT partners to address data issues or system enhancements

EDUCATION, EXERIENCE & SKILLS:

* Bachelor's degree; preferably in a business, finance, accounting, or data science subject area (Master's degree a strong plus)
* At least 3 years of experience in the financial services industry or in a profitability focused role at an enterprise software company; preferably with domain expertise in enterprise sales, sales operations / technology, commercial systems, profitability analytics, and/or FP&A
* High agency contributor with an earnest interest in the sales and pricing process
* Strong analytical and operational capabilities, with an ability to manage projects and timelines while effectively managing stakeholders
