Under the direction of the District 12 Supervising Right of Way Agent (Office Chief), the Senior Right of Way Agent is the first line supervisor overseeing Associate Right of Way Agents, and Range A and B Right of Way Agents and will perform all duties necessary to manage the Right of Way functional units to which they are assigned. Right of Way functions may include Appraisals, Acquisitions, Condemnation, Local Programs, Excess Lands, Property Management, Relocation Assistance Program, and any combination thereof.
While working in one of the specific areas, the incumbent will primarily devote their time to that function. The incumbent is also responsible for supervising, directing, reviewing, and planning the work of a group Right of Way Agents and Support Staff assigned to the functional unit. Travel is required and must possess a valid driver's license to operate a state owned or leased vehicle.

Working Conditions
Position located at 1750 E. 4th Street, Santa Ana CA 92705, Orange County - District 12/Division of Project Delivery, Right of Way.
Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment.
While at the base of operations, will work in a climate-controlled office under artificial lighting when required, and may be eligible to Telework which would follow the Caltrans Telework Policy as directed by Deputy Directive Number DD-14-R4, based upon the Department's Project Delivery & Operational needs. Will use a keyboard, video monitor and laptop for short periods of time as well as a telephone. May also be required to travel and work outdoors and may be exposed to dirt, noise, uneven surfaces and/or extreme heat or cold. Possesion of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.
This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Caltrans's evolving telework policy. Caltrans supports telework, recognizing that in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksites with minimum notification if an urgent need arises. The selected candidate will be required to commute to the headquartered location as needed to meet operational needs. Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee's designated headquartered location, primary residence, and may be subject to CalHR regulations or applicable bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the headquartered location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

Position is for a 10 month school year with eligibility for an additional 2 months to be paid by State Special School Benefits through Unemployment Insurance. This is the first of two entry-level classes in the series. Positions are responsible for meeting basic physical care needs of students at a school for the deaf. Under general supervision, incumbents supervise and provide surveillance over a group of students in a dormitory setting just before, during, and just after sleeping periods. Incumbents also assist students needing help with medical problems, sleeplessness, emotional distress, behavioral problems, etc.; provide quiet leisure activities for students who are awake; and record anecdotal and numerical information. Incumbents may assist students with early morning preparations for school, supervise the dining rooms, monitor student performance of housekeeping tasks, keep routine records, prepare materials, or perform tasks which assist other staff with school activities and programs. Little or no supervision of individual student or group activities is assigned.

Incumbent may work in a wide range of sometimes extreme-conditions, including heat up to 120 degrees, cold to -15 degrees, strong winds, rain, sleet, and snow. Operates and maintains chain saws, brush chippers, weed trimmers, hedge trimmers and hand tools such as hoes, shovels, pitchforks, hand shears, and hand saws. Position located at 14032 VICTORIA STREET, FONTANA, CA 92336, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY.
Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment.
Most of the incumbent's time will be spent in the field, operating equipment or working on foot. Weather conditions vary from a cold, windy, and wet winter climate to a very hot and predominately dry summer climate. Temperature extremes can range from below freezing in the winter to well over 100 degrees on a consistent basis in the summer. Occasional heavy thunderstorms can be expected in the summer months and heavy rain is to be expected in the winter. The incumbent will be required to operate equipment and work outside in extreme temperatures and inclement weather, and may be required to sit or stand for long periods. May work on uneven surfaces and may be exposed to noise, dust, hot materials and chemicals. Will be required to wear long pants and appropriate footwear, as defined in section 4.3 of the current MOU, and must wear provided personal protective safety equipment such as shirts or vests, hard hats, safety glasses and gloves, as well as other safety devices deemed necessary. The incumbent will be required to travel extensively through the assigned area and may be required to travel to and work in other areas in the district.

The reporting location for this position is Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA. This position will work under the supervision of Park Maintenance Supervisor.
The Senior Maintenance Aide, on a temporary or seasonal basis only, performs unskilled manual labor in cleaning up and maintaining State property, and does other related work. The normal shift is from 7:00 am to 3:30pm. This position performs the following duties: Inspects and cleans restrooms, warehouses, and State facilities. Cleaning includes toilets, urinals, lavatories, sinks, ceilings, walls, floors, drains, and doors. Also picks up litter, empties trash cans, sweeps walkways and inside buildings, washes windows, removes graffiti, vacuums carpeting and floor surfaces, dusts inside buildings, changes lights, removes refuse to prepare or maintain State property, reports needed repairs and hazards to Lead person or Supervisor, assists with special event projects, rakes, shovels, removes brush, waters shrubs and trees, cuts lawn, hoes brush, loads and unloads boxes, washes garbage cans and works on garbage pickup crew. Inspects, cleans and maintains light vehicles including trucks, electric carts, Gators, lawn mowers and equipment. Complete and fills out forms, including supply requisitions and Time Reports, as needed in performance of duties. The purchase and wearing of a State Park uniform is required and State Park grooming standards must be met.
This position may work up to 1500 hours within 12 consecutive months. This position is designated as not telework eligible.

Possession of a valid driver's license of the appropriate class and a safe driving record as documented by the Department of Motor Vehicles within 60 days prior to appointment. The reporting location for this position is Crystal Cove State Park in Laguna Beach, CA. This position will work under the supervision of the State Parks Peace Officer (Lifeguard).
A Lifeguard I (Seasonal) (LG I) is perhaps the most visible and important position on the beach. This position is responsible for the front-line defense of both aquatic and non-aquatic emergencies. The LG I will understand that visitor safety and service to the public is the key objective, with Aquatic Safety being the priority. Such assistance and service shall be provided both promptly, professionally and courteously.
A LG I is directed by an assigned staff of Lifeguard II (Seasonal) employees, State Park Peace Officers (Lifeguard), and State Park Peace Officer Supervisors (Lifeguard). The LG I (Seasonal) will adhere to the chain of command. Routine requests for assistance and work-related directions will be made by contacting the Lifeguard II (Seasonal) assigned to the employee. The Clinical Psychology Intern is an individual who is currently enrolled in a doctoral program in clinical psychology at a recognized university or professional school. The clinical psychology internship provides the final required year of applied clinical service in psychology training.
As an Affiliate Member of DSH-Metropolitan Psychology Services, the Clinical Psychology Intern adheres to the following: Psychology Service Rules and Regulations, Medical Staff Bylaws, Administrative Directives, and all DSH-Metropolitan policies and procedures. The Dance Therapist, SF (Safety) is required to meet the criteria below, in accordance with Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 22, § 76033
(1) "Dance Therapist" means a person who has a master's degree in dance
therapy, including an approved clinical internship from an accredited college or university, or a person who is registered or eligible for registration as such with the American Dance Therapy Association.
The Music Therapist, SF (Safety) is required to meet the criteria below, in accordance with Business and Professions Code, DIVISION 2. HEALING ARTS [500 - 4999.129], CHAPTER 10.7. Music Therapy [4650 - 4657].
(1) Existing national certification of music therapists requires the therapist to have
graduated with a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, or higher, from a music therapy degree program approved by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA), successful completion of a minimum of 1,200 hours of supervised clinical work through preinternship training at an approved degree program, and internship training through approved national roster or university affiliated internship programs, or an equivalent.
Requirements for: Rehabilitation Therapist, SF (Recreations-Safety) & Occupational Therapist, SF (Safety)
All disciplines: Art Therapy, Dance Therapy, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Recreation Therapy (Safety) must meet the criteria in accordance with the Business and Professional Code, and California Code Regulations, and corresponding boards.
The Rehabilitation Therapist, SF (Recreation-Safety) is required to meet the criteria below, in accordance with Business and Professions Code Section 17505.2:
(1) Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a baccalaureate degree in recreation therapy or in recreation and leisure studies with a specialization in recreation therapy. (3) No person shall represent himself or herself as a recreation therapist
assistant or represent the services he or she performs as being in any way related to recreation therapy, unless he or she at a minimum has current certification, or has eligibility for certification, by the California Board of Recreation and Park Certification or by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification, Inc., as a recreation therapist assistant.
The Occupational Therapist, SF (Safety) is required to meet the criteria below, in accordance with Business and Professions Code Section 2570.3
(1) A person shall not practice occupational therapy or hold themselves out as an occupational therapist or as being able to practice occupational therapy, or to render occupational therapy services in this state unless the person is licensed as an occupational therapist under the provisions of this chapter. A person shall not hold themselves out as an occupational therapy assistant or work as an occupational therapy assistant under the supervision of an occupational therapist unless the person is licensed as an occupational therapy assistant under this chapter.

The reporting location for this position is San Clemente State Beach in San Clemente, CA. This position will work under the supervision of the State Parks Peace Officer (Lifeguard).
A Lifeguard I (Seasonal) (LG I) is perhaps the most visible and important position on the beach. This position is responsible for the front-line defense of both aquatic and non-aquatic emergencies. The LG I will understand that visitor safety and service to the public is the key objective, with Aquatic Safety being the priority. Such assistance and service shall be provided both promptly, professionally and courteously.
A LG I is directed by an assigned staff of Lifeguard II (Seasonal) employees, State Park Peace Officers (Lifeguard), and State Park Peace Officer Supervisors (Lifeguard). The LG I (Seasonal) will adhere to the chain of command. Routine requests for assistance and work-related directions will be made by contacting the Lifeguard II (Seasonal) assigned to the employee. Matters of urgency or of a timely nature may be directed to the assigned Lifeguard Supervisor or in his/her absence the SPPO Lifeguard (permanent) staff.
This position may work up to 1500 hours within 12 consecutive months. This position is designated as not telework eligible.
The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
