3. Maintain patient admissions and discharges from various EMR systems
4. Provide secretarial support to clinical staff.
5. Responsible for entering patient charges due into EMR system
6. Maintain over 550 patient rosters on daily basis
7. Verify insurance eligibility for scheduled appointments under various EMR systems for over 250 patients daily.
Scan in all patient data, reports upon receipt of information.
Create charts for new patients and ensure consents get collected.
8. Ensure all provider-patient visits are scheduled correctly into our EMR system.
9. Provide monthly provider reports to over 550 licensed Board and Cares
10. Transcribe patient medical notes to various EMR system that license Board and Cares utilize
11. Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
12. Assist in compiling data and information for reports required by external agencies and regulatory authorities.
13. Handle protected health information in a manner consistent with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
14. Keep supervisor informed of problems or issues and suggest solutions.
15. Consistently demonstrate and uphold CCCHC's principle of providing quality health and human services to the medically underserved and low-income populations in a culturally sensitive manner.
