Position Summary: In accordance with Wallick Mission and Values, The AHO Compliance Assistant performs an array of administrative tasks to support our Affordable Housing Operations. Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business, public administration, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3- years of experience in affordable housing with affordable housing programs with LIHTC, Section 8, HOME and RD.
Understanding and working knowledge of affordable housing programs and regulations, including LIHTC, RD, Section 8, and other relevant programs.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), HUD Secure Systems, TEAMs, SharePoint and Yardi Voyager.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Relevant certifications such as Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Blended Occupancy Specialist, Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) Specialist, Housing Credit Management (SHCM).Functions and Responsibilities:
Assist the Compliance Team with scheduling audits and track results.
HUD Secure System Coordinator and Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) Oversight
Manage Annual Renewal of Critical Documents
Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to State and HUD regulations for affordable housing.
Perform data entry tasks, including updating and maintaining databases.
Assist Operation's Leadership with day-to-day operations task.
Work closely with operations, legal, development and finance teams to ensure operational efficiency across all housing programs.
Provide training virtually and in person to site teams on operations processes and requirements, as well as best practices.
Physical Demands: Position requires work to be performed in an office setting. Extensive use of a computer, keyboard and mouse; requires walking, talking, seeing and hearing. Positions require the ability to walk up and down stairs and lift 40 pounds. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment: Work takes place in an office setting with moderate noise levels. Position requires a minimum of 20% travel to various housing properties to assist with audits, inspections, training, and direct site support.

Job Description:
Position supports the locations of Horizon Education Centers, including grant management and data analysis for each.
Complete site visits, classroom observations, and reports
Support Compliance Coordinator and Senior Ed Services Coordinator to ensure compliance with DCY and other government regulations and grant and contract requirements
Assist in monitoring DCY's compliance reports
Assist in monitoring grant requirements and collecting necessary data, and performing analysis to ensure that requirements are met
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with personnel and family information
May require frequent lifting and carrying of larger items, including but not limited to deliveries
All other duties as needed/assigned
This is a generalist position and will require travel within the service area, ability to collect and analyze data, ability to work independently and as a team member, be a self-starter, and have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Requires an associate's degree or CDA in Education or related field, preferably a bachelor's degree in education, leadership, or administration
Knowledge of DCY and other government requirements
Experience in childcare, after-school, and early education settings is required
Has the ability to build positive relationships with coworkers, vendors, and the community through prompt and accurate response and service, cheerful and professional attitude, and problem-solving spirit
Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills; and be able to expertly deal with internal and external individuals in a positive manner
Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be able to multitask and have strong detail-oriented, time management, and organizational skills
Must be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively as an active part of a team
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and other software programs; with an emphasis on Excel
Must have strong data entry skills and experience in the collection and analysis of data to make improvements is a plus
Willingness to update job knowledge with required training, DCY licensing rules and SUTQ professional development opportunities, and industry trends
Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 lbs. as required
Must be able to pass background checks and physical/ medical screening as required
