Supervises the Beverage Department operations and services on an assigned shift/area. Coordinates activities of workers engaged in selling and serving alcoholic beverages for consumption on premises by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Responsible for the training and supervision of the beverage staff. Supervises the day-to-day activities for all beverage employees, including proper employee/employer relations, recognition, evaluating performance and administration of discipline on an assigned shift. Assist in the scheduling of beverage department employees. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all ABC regulations. Knowledge of the ABC Act. Ensures that guest service is at a consistently high level. Ensures that cost of service is at a level that is beneficial to Horseshoe by moving personnel to outlets in need, and decreasing personnel in over-staffed areas. Ensures that all beverage outlet areas are maintained at a high level of cleanliness and sanitation. Observes all personnel in the performance of their duties. Ensures that personal appearance standards are met. Completes all shift-related paperwork. Ensures highest level of safety compliance. Acts as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesar's and encourages others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE



2 years of college education within related field. Three years experience in beverage industry. 1 year of supervisory experience. Knowledgeable in total beverage service/bartending including technical experience in drink preparation and service required. Must possess good customer service, employee relations and leadership skills. Must have good analytical abilities. Should have knowledge of all phases of beverage administration, cost control, and familiarity with all beverage services. Ability to handle stressful situations. Ability to make quick decisions. Ability to train, follow and execute training manuals. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Delaware North Gaming is searching for full-time Beverage Supervisors for Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Beverage Supervisor, you will partner with leaders and peers to deliver the highest levels of service to our guests.

**Responsibilities**

+ Completes daily sales reports and reconciliation. Monitors cost control and completes period-end accounting.

+ Assists with end-of-month inventory and financial reporting.

+ Ensure compliance with all departmental and organizational policies and procedures.

+ Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and associates.

+ Assist managers in training and development of the team and conducting associate-counseling sessions.

+ Assist managers in the management of staffing levels in accordance with established budgetary goals and business volume.

+ Inspect by walking through your assigned area to monitor staff and to monitor guest needs.

+ Analyze and resolve problems, seeking assistance if needed from management.

+ Ensure venue is adequately stocked with all product and supplies needed for service.

+ Collaborate with manager concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention.

+ Assist bartending associates in serving guests as business levels demand.

+ Ensure personnel meet appearance standards and follow all uniform guidelines.

+ Complete other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Minimum of 1 year successful supervisory or management experience.

+ Knowledge in bartending techniques, recipes, sanitation, and safety issues.

+ Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.

+ Must be able to work flexible hours to include night, weekends and holidays.

+ Strong verbal, written, organizational and time-management skills.

+ Basic computer skills including word-processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail required.

**Physical Requirements**

+ Ability to lift or carry 50 pounds.

+ Ability to engage in constant standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.

+ Ability to walk throughout the entire facility, for the entire length of shift.

+ Possible exposure to high volume of noise during busy times.

+ May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season.
