Part-time Description
We are looking to add another Substitute Certified Early Childhood Special Education Teacher at our NW Center for the 2025/2026 school year. Must have a valid Nebraska Teaching/Substitute Certificate. This position is in our Omaha Public School's IEP classrooms at CRCC and follows OPS's calendar.
The individual must be located in the Omaha, NE metropolitan area as the position is in-person.
The individual must be eligible to work in the United States.

CRCC is a provider of Children's Day Health Services, which includes comprehensive day services including Pre-School programs, behavioral health, and rehabilitative therapy.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for implementation of the educational program, activities of daily living (ADL's), and personal cares of CRCC clients;
Creates materials and lesson plan for implementation each day;
Holds small group instruction to reach each child's learning level;
Maintains an evidence based environment in an organized, safe, and clean manner following ECERS guidelines;
Completes consistent and accurate assessment outcomes for all children;
Captures documentation of growth, milestones, and activities through the online platform Tadpoles and documentation wall;
Seeks professional development opportunities if/when required;
Communicates consistently and accurately with families and staff using CRCC's online platform Tadpoles.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Education with certification in Early Childhood Education and Special Education is preferred. Substitute Teaching License is acceptable.
Nebraska Teaching License required.
Ability to meet conditions of employment regarding health status and clearance with the Nebraska Child Abuse/Neglect Central Registry and/or Adult Abuse/Neglect Registry, Nebraska State Patrol, criminal history check, and fingerprinting.
Previous work experience with pre-school children, preferably children with special needs.
Must be able to complete 12 education hours (CEU) each year.
Possesses understanding, patience, and flexibility in dealing with clients, parents, and team members.
Ability to demonstrate successful completion of Personal Care Aide Training including a PowerPoint, quiz, and competency demonstrations signed by a Registered Nurse as required by Children's Day Health Services regulations.

CRCC also has full-time openings for classroom staff at our Northwest Center (88th & Blondo) and our Southwest Center (138th & Q).
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have at least one year of experience working in a licensed childcare center or public school system. POSITION SUMMARY
The Mental Health Professional is a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team and provides clinically appropriate services under the clinical direction of the Director of Mental Health. The Mental Health Professional will provide mental health screenings and assessments, clinical watches, treatment groups and individual sessions, as well as other clinically related activities.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide clinical services, including screening, assessment, treatment planning and crisis intervention.
2. Performs individual and group therapeutic counseling.
3. Performs administrative consultations for specialized social services as determined by the specific needs of the institution.
4. Interviews inmates to obtain information concerning medical history, mental health history, or other pertinent information.
5. Observes inmates to detect indications of abnormal behavior.
6. Reviews results of tests, treatment plans and treatment cases with the behavioral health team to evaluate client needs and implement treatment.
7. Coordinates psychiatry services, which includes but is not limited to tracking and triaging patients' requests or staff referrals for psychotropic meds; administrative duties for psychiatry visits; tracking psychiatry services provided including signed consents and obtaining refusals.
8. Plans and administers therapeutic treatment such as counseling, behavior modification and psychosocial education to assist inmates in managing their mental disorders and other interpersonal or environmental problems.
9. Discusses progress toward treatment goals with inmates and ensures that the treatment plan is completed in a timely manner, adhered to as the barometer for treatment and is reflected in the progress notes.
10. Consults with behavioral health team concerning treatment plan and amends plan as described

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually based on state requirements. Maintains all department specific required certifications. When applicable, may need a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Iowa: Require Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing. CNA certification must be maintained with the State Board of Nursing. Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course once CNA certification is obtained.
Minnesota: Must have nursing assistant certification, have completed the 75-hour course and be registered with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry. Successful completion of a state-approved Trained Medication Assistant course.
North Dakota: Require Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing. CNA certification must be maintained with the State Board of Nursing. The NA aids providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed. Documents resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary. Communicates resident's changing condition and care related concerns/responses to the charge nurse. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational. Provides assistance and documentation with wellness and recreational programs and encourages residents to participate. May participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
Qualifications
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement. CNA training and certification required and provided by facility.
Colorado: Depending on facility, Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification with the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment required.

Qualifications
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
Minimum age of 18 preferred. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually based on state requirements. Maintains all department specific required certifications. When applicable, may need a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Iowa: Require Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing. CNA certification must be maintained with the State Board of Nursing. Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course once CNA certification is obtained.
Minnesota: Must have nursing assistant certification, have completed the 75-hour course and be registered with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry. Successful completion of a state-approved Trained Medication Assistant course.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications for Physical Therapist
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy School with any of the following degrees or combination of these degrees: BS, MS, MPT or DPT.
Current active license in state of Nebraska as a Physical Therapist.
Current active BLS/CPR certification required.
Experience with pediatric physical therapies preferred.
Able to meet agency's conditions of employment regarding health status and clearance with the Nebraska Child Abuse/Neglect Central Registry and/or Adult Abuse/Neglect Registry and the Nebraska State Patrol.
Minimum Qualifications for Physical Therapist Assistant
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with an Associate's Degree.
Current active license in state of Nebraska as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Obtain BLS/CPR certification upon hire
Experience with physical therapy in pediatric setting preferred.
Able to meet agency's conditions of employment regarding health status and clearance with the Nebraska Child Abuse/Neglect Central Registry and/or Adult Abuse/Neglect Registry and the Nebraska State Patrol.
