Opportunity: Post Doctorate Fellowship in Psychology at Circles of Care, Inc. We are currently accepting applications to fill a one-year, postdoctoral residency position. Circles of Care is a not-for-profit, comprehensive behavioral health care system. The organization includes adults and children inpatient units, outpatient facilities, rehab residential programs, and numerous other programs that serve the Community of Brevard County, FL.
Circles of Care inpatient units have approximately 120 beds, including acute mental health, crisis stabilization, chemical detoxification, substance abuse residential, and a children's crisis stabilization program. Circles of Care is accredited by the Joint Commission Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations, is an approved Medicare and Medicaid provider, and has contracts with numerous managed care organizations.
Job description: The postdoctoral resident will primarily provide inpatient services in our crisis stabilization inpatient hospitals, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, supervise practicum students, conduct psychological evaluations, and engage in training opportunities. The population served are children, adults, and elderly. The resident will work under the close supervision of a licensed psychologist and report to the director of inpatient clinical operations.
This is a one-year position that will meet all of the requirements for a postdoctoral residency necessary for psychologist licensure in the State of Florida. The stipend is $62,000 without benefits or $53,000 with full benefits. Supervision is included.

Other:Proven track record in supervision, instruction, and evaluation of imaging caregivers. • Ability to manipulate x-ray equipment, including mobile and other equipment; carry cassettes; select and manipulate exposure factors; evaluate radiographs. • Ability to safely lift, move, and transport patients. • Exhibit resiliency and ability to adapt to stressful situations, including recognizing emergency situations and supporting team members through clear communication. • Proficient in the use of radiographic equipment, radiographic imaging processors, and other applicable computer and technologies. Education: BSN or have a BSN within three (3) years of job acceptance.
Licensure: Current RN license with the Board of Nursing in the applicable State of practice.
Experience: 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
Preferred Experience: ER experience strongly preferred.
Certification/Registration: Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period. TNCC, ACLS and ENPC or PALS.
