Overview:
The Driver Check-in Distribution Clerk is responsible for processing the end of day activity with drivers returning to the warehouse.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process product returns and classifies for putaway.
- Review product returns with drivers to ensure the correct return code is used.
- Utilize AS400 to access information and Velocitor Middleware.
- Determine if entire orders are being reshipped.
- Update management on any issues discovered with driver paperwork or returns process.
- Coordinate with Inventory Control to answer any questions on discrepancies or errors found.
- Data Entry, report generation utilizing Excel and Word \ Various administrative duties with the ability to quickly grasp new PC applications.
- Must have high-level attention to detail.
- Maintain confidentiality of all SGWS business and comply with all company rules and regulations as outlined in the employee manual.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets in creating pivot tables, develop charts, and complex formulas.
Physical Demands:
- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine.

What the Job Entails:
+ Properly document work performed. Checking In/Out Drivers (On APP/ Paperwork)
+ Make photocopy of the driver's license
+ Fill out container inspection log
+ Log driver arrivals on a spreadsheet
+ Ensure drivers are signing the check-in log
+ Communicating driver arrival with dock lead
+ If container is being picked up, verify the container number belongs to the driver's company
+ Container Receiving Data Entry
+ Enter inbound loads into system
+ Print pallet labels + tally sheet, give to warehouse lead
+ Collect completed tally sheets, verify data, close receiving in system
+ Send end of day email to client with copy of warehouse receipt and tally sheet
+ Closing orders in system or scanning BOL's.
+ Ensure office area and surroundings are clean
+ Interact with dispatchers/CSR's to work as a team when shipping and receiving railcars and trailers.
+ Actively communicate with supervisors and operators to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns.
