The Senior Engineer leads all aspects of performance contracts for our clients, from conception to completion, and serves as the primary point of contact throughout all phases. Piping Engineering & Analysis Synopsis The Piping Engineering & Analysis discipline performs evaluations for piping systems in accordance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.7, and other codes as applicable to thespecific evaluation being performed. The Piping Engineering & Analysis discipline also performs the following specialty topics. + Vibration monitoring and analysis to evaluate system operational vibrations associated with plant modifications and operating events, and to provide vibration prevention and mitigation solutions and designs. + Evaluation of hydraulic transients, evaluation of piping systems for thermal stratification effects, operability evaluations, and qualification of piping for hydrodynamic loads. + Pipe rupture evaluations, evaluation of pipe wall thinning due to flow accelerated corrosion (FAC) or microbiological induced corrosion (MIC), and pipe flaw evaluations. As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will be assigned to work on a project team in our Grid business unit and assist the engineering team members in the execution of their project work. These projects may involve the design of new and/or modifications and upgrades to transmission, substation, distribution, renewable, and battery energy storage system engineering projects. Working under the direction of senior engineers, this internship will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in Electrical Engineering in one or more of the following areas: * Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designs. * Work on a variety of tasks associated with project reporting, such as tracking and evaluating project activities, project progress, and associated data. * Be involved in power designs and the preparation of specifications for the procurement of major electrical power equipment and related installation services.
