To negotiate the purchase of commodity products. To provide customer service to ensure price competitive and timely delivery of commodity products.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities


Build on negotiating skills to maximize ROIC, and to build trading positions for maximum profit while minimizing risk. Build, develop, and manage a network of customers and suppliers for long term business growth and development. Seek cash price anomalies and execute regional arbitrage opportunities to maximize margins. Manage and monitor inventories at the production facilities to ensure adequate supply. Comprehend NGFA and NOPA trade rules and specific cash commodity technical trade specifications to create trading liquidity. Perform other task and projects as assigned by supervisor



Minimum Education


BS Degree (Agriculture, Business Management, Accounting or related field)


Experience Requirements



0-3 years of experience Understanding of commodity markets Understanding of standard software applications Strong math, communications, analytical and interpersonal skills

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements


Able to move freely throughout production facilities and customer locations.Exposed to external weather conditions to include rain, snow, and extreme temperatures (-15 - 100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).Able to lift 50 pounds.Able to travel internationally.Overnight travel is estimated to be between 50% and 75%.Able to operate a motor vehicle and travel to and from Venture Milling and customer locations.Able to use standard office equipment to include telephone, computers, copiers etc.

**Purpose and Scope/General Summary:** This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, dynamic business that is heavily involved with supplying feedstock to the Renewable Fuels and Agricultural sector. The By-Products Sales role is responsible for the sales of By-Products produced by JBS Packing houses located across the US and Canada. This includes the development, implementation and management of sales and marketing strategies, new business development and relationship building across suppliers and customers. Our primary markets of focus are Renewable and Biofuels, Pet Food, Feed Ingredients, and the Oleo-chemical industry. This role is in office and based at our Corporate Office in Greeley, CO. The role can be tailored to suit the candidate's skill set and experience.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Responsible for the sales and marketing of Protein Meal, Fats, Oils and Greases

+ Manage inventories and execute on forward sales in conjunction with forward production volumes

+ Ability to identify arbitrage opportunities across physical commodities traded

+ Develop and implement new markets or commodities that complement the existing business

+ Manage designated key customers/destinations as a complete package to ensure that the Company's trading activities exceed the expectations of new and existing buyers and suppliers

+ Work with Trading teams to provide accurate market prices and knowledge to assist in the pricing of contracts, and look for opportunities to add value to sales and secure margin

+ Ensure the appropriate protection of the Company's financial interests by conscious and active risk management

+ Work with shipping, logistics, rail, finance, and other functions that impact key accounts and relevant commodities

+ Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications:**

+ Minimum 2+ years of experience in trading commodities

+ Additional sales, pricing or logistics experience across US, Canada and Mexico desirable

+ BS/BA degree or equivalent career experience

+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

+ In-depth knowledge of agricultural supply chains and associated markets

+ Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook

+ As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following **compensation and benefits** :

+ **Benefits** : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

+ **Paid Time Off** : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

+ **401(k):** company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

+ **Base salary** range of **$75,000 - $120,000;** and

+ **Incentive Pay:** This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;

Eagle Seven is seeking a Head Algorithmic Trader to build, optimize and trade market making and liquidity removal strategies in US agricultural futures markets. This role is for the motivated self-starter who wants the opportunity to start their own desk with incentive based compensation directly tied to a percentage of trading profits. The Head Trader will be responsible for leveraging the firm's proprietary technology to build and manage all aspects of the trading team's operations.
Primary Responsibilities include:

Collaborating closely with strategy developers to build and test algorithmic trading models in CME and ICE agriculture markets and iterate on an ongoing basis to optimize execution, pricing, and risk management logic

Providing leadership for the team in a risk management capacity in order to address both market and operational risk

Leveraging the firm's low latency systems to capitalize on short term pricing inefficiencies

Performing research and post trade analysis using the firm's research tools to improve modeling, parameterization and execution of existing strategies

Engaging with teammates to cultivate and explore new strategy concepts and ideas with the intention of generating new sources of trading revenue

Communicating with management, internal technology groups and risk managers regarding project management, production issues and market developments

Managing the team's trading staff across Asian and European shifts with the objective of maintaining trading operations on a 24/6 basis

Requirements

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, business/finance, or related field

At least 4 years' of professional trading experience in domestic or international commodity futures markets

Thorough understanding of agricultural market fundamentals

Experience with electronic market making in listed derivatives markets

Proven track record in similar role at a proprietary trading firm or hedge fund

Strong analytical, quantitative, and math skills

Expert level understanding of CME Globex and/or ICE architecture and microstructure

Experience with Python is preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated strong work ethic and team player focused on contributing to the success of the trading desk
