The Dental Assistant works energetically to improve and secure CHCL as the medical and dental home for our clients. Under the general supervision of a Dental Director and the Site Manager, the Dental Assistant provides chair side assistance and support for the Dentist; performs such procedures as x-rays and sterilization of dental instruments; and provides dental education, especially to children and their parents or caregivers. Key Responsibilities Assisting Principal Investigator (PI) in planning and implementing clinical research studies as assigned, including: coordinating preparation of protocol applications for submission to the IRB, study sponsor, regulatory authority, etc.; corresponding with the IRB, study sponsors, clinical research organizations, study participants, and referring physicians.
