As a devout Seventh-day Adventist school, student life at Pacific Union College is virtually synonymous with spiritual life. PUC students get involved with ministry groups, community service and mission trips throughout the world. Of course, they also find time for plenty of other campus activities, from arts to athletics. With diverse academics including about 35 majors in 20 departments, PUC can accommodate virtually every student's professional or academic aspirations. Major areas vary from business to music to physics, and more than 20 pre-professional programs are available. The school has also recently begun an Environmental Science program for students interested in sustainability. Pacific Union College's admissions are open to high school graduates, including those with a GED who scored an average of 500 on all five tests. Additional admissions requirements may apply to international students and those on academic probation. Many scholarships are available for Pacific Union students who show outstanding academic merit.
