Machinist II is responsible for performing basic machine setups and operating fabrication machinery. Position Summary: This position may be on Mill, HTL, or VTL machine with +/- .003 tolerance requirements. Must know how to work with aerospace alloys. This position may support 1st shift (4:15am - 12:45pm, M - F), 2nd shift (12:15pm - 8:45pm, M - F), 3rd shift (8:15pm - 4:45am, Su - Th) operations, or a split shift depending on business needs. Desired Qualifications: Experience with Siemens NX CAM Experience running DMG Mori equipment including DMU60, and DMC125 FD with Siemens 840D Control Experience with set-up and machining Additive Manufacturing (metal-LPBF) parts Mechanical Design Modeling Lean Manufacturing including 6S Education / Experience / General Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in operation setup on CNC machines (required). Good vision abilities, including close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus (required). Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. (over 25 lbs. with assistance) (required). REQUIRED: Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance as required for this position.
