CNC programming - be able to perform programming/edits at the machine in G-code (HAAS). Fabricate plastic and steel parts to specification. Assemble parts to final product. Perform routine machine maintenance. Visualize, design, and create fixtures and tooling for manufacturing efficiency. Other Duties: Assist with equipment assembly as necessary. Keep all work areas clean and organized. Document time & material when producing parts. Follow all safety policies. Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. Required Skills/Experience: Ability to read, visualize and follow drawings, blue prints, and schematics. Knowledge of G-code is a plus. Knowledge SheetCAM/CAM software is a plus. Ability to learn job-related material through oral instruction and observation. This learning takes place mainly in an on the-job training setting. Ability to accurately read measuring instruments (i.e. calipers, tapes, gauges, etc.) Ability to use basic hand and/or power tools. Ability to prioritize multiple projects. Strong work ethic - ability to report on time for all scheduled workdays/shifts. Required Education/Experience: Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic are required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional technical training would be a plus. Five years of manufacturing experience. Working Conditions: Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Safety-toe footwear and eye protection are required when working in the shop. Machine and tool operation may require the use of hearing protectors. Certain duties may require the use of a mask/respirator. Position requires the ability to: Remain in a standing position for extended periods of time. Bend or stoop repeatedly or continually over time. Lift objects up to 50 pounds.
