Primary Responsibilities:

This position is responsible to complete the necessary tasks associated with taking approved designs, drawings or specifications to reality in a finished product on CNC milling and manual milling, lathe, band saw and drill press equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate accurate CAD/CAM drawings and CNC programs from engineering models or technical drawings.
Specify and select proper tooling for HAAS, FADAL, and DMG-MORI CNC machining centers.
Set up and operate CNC mills, as well as manual mill, lathe, band saw, and drill press.
Perform in-house inspection of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
Create detailed technical drawings from 2D & 3D models.
Interpret and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), symbols, and manufacturing requirements.
Install tooling, set tool offsets, establish proper work holding and set work offsets on CNC equipment.
Qualify machined dimensions on finished parts through precise measurement and inspection techniques.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately; understand machining methods and practices.
Work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Monitor machine operation by observing and listening for issues such as tool wear or breakage.
Assist in daily production by operating assigned equipment as required.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist / Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Surfcam, Autocad, Solidworks, Esprit, Mastercam, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with HAAS, FADAL, and DMG-MORI 3 and 4 axis CNC machines.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, G Code, M Code and machining / Setup practices.
Good working knowledge and understanding of tooling and proper usage, as well as speed & feed calculation. Materials - Aluminum, Stainless, Plastics, and Steel.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators, CMM etc.).
Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Formal training in CNC machining or related technical field.
Experience in both prototype and production machining environments.
Familiarity with ISO quality standards is a plus

Perform part inspections as necessary to ensure quality of work and continually monitor parts production to ensure adherence to blueprint tolerances using appropriate inspection tools and criteria.
Responsible for deburring all parts after machining operation to meet required specifications.
Maintain correct daily labor time recording and accurate entries on applicable manufacturing documentation.
Ability to analyze and resolve complex machining problems and recommend process and tooling improvements.
Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion and perform basic preventative maintenance activities as required.
Perform other general shop duties or assist other departments as business demands require.
Operate multiple pieces of equipment concurrently when cycle time permits.
Provide in-depth technical training and mentor shop personnel in the proper setup and operation of qualified CNC equipment.
Maintain all quality and productivity standards.

Requirements
Professional and Personal Requirements:
7 to 10 years of experience of setting up, proving out, and operating CNC turning, and/or milling, grinding, and gear shaping equipment, including making program edits, tool offsets, and compensations.
Must be able to work independently from blueprints, sketches, oral, or written instructions without supervision or technical guidance.
Must have the skills, ability, and desire to serve as a mentor for shop personnel as needed.
Possess a thorough knowledge of typical shop inspection equipment such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial indicators, bore gages, CMM's, and be proficient with all inspection methodologies.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), metal cutting principles, tooling, and thread nomenclature is required.
Must be proficient in Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. Mechanical Drafting and Computer skills in CAD and Solid Works are beneficial.
Possess a working knowledge and the ability to apply the concepts of Lean Manufacturing to achieve continuous production improvements.
Regular attendance and daily punctuality are necessary for performing the job.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
Must have proven professional qualities including strong initiative, integrity, and the desire and ability to work effectively as a member of various work teams.
Must be able to speak, write, and read English and interpret documents such as safety guidelines, method sheets, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Work overtime as needed when business demands require.
Must possess basic computer skills.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of standing for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work environment includes regular exposure to manufacturing areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and respirators.

Position Overview
This position is responsible to complete the necessary tasks associated with taking approved designs, drawings or specifications to reality in a finished product on CNC milling and manual milling, lathe, band saw and drill press equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate accurate CAD/CAM drawings and CNC programs from engineering models or technical drawings.
Specify and select proper tooling for HAAS, FADAL, and DMG-MORI CNC machining centers.
Set up and operate CNC mills, as well as manual mill, lathe, band saw, and drill press.
Perform in-house inspection of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
Create detailed technical drawings from 2D & 3D models.
Interpret and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), symbols, and manufacturing requirements.
Install tooling, set tool offsets, establish proper work holding and set work offsets on CNC equipment.
Qualify machined dimensions on finished parts through precise measurement and inspection techniques.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately; understand machining methods and practices.
Work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Monitor machine operation by observing and listening for issues such as tool wear or breakage.
Assist in daily production by operating assigned equipment as required.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist / Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Surfcam, Autocad, Solidworks, Esprit, Mastercam, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with HAAS, FADAL, and DMG-MORI 3 and 4 axis CNC machines.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, G Code, M Code and machining / Setup practices.
Good working knowledge and understanding of tooling and proper usage, as well as speed & feed calculation. Materials - Aluminum, Stainless, Plastics, and Steel.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators, CMM etc.).
Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Formal training in CNC machining or related technical field.
Experience in both prototype and production machining environments.
Familiarity with ISO quality standards is a plus
Physical qualifications and work environment:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs;
Must be able to sustain physical work for 8+ hours per day including the following:
