Job Summary
Are you a skilled CNC Machinist who thrives on challenging setups and tight tolerances? This role goes beyond button-pushing - we need someone confident in setting up, dialing in, and producing complex, one-off, and low-volume parts with high precision.
Responsibilities
Must be a subject matter expert in the following functions/activities (perform correctly and without assistance):
Able to Run Manual and CNC Machines at an expert Level.
Perform full setups on CNC mills and/or lathes from print or model - including indicating vises, fixtures, and part zeros.
Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and 3D models to execute machining strategies.
Adjust feeds, speeds, tooling, and offsets to optimize quality and efficiency.
Troubleshoot issues related to tooling, setup, and part accuracy independently.
Ensure in-process inspection and first article inspection compliance.
Collaborate with engineers and programmers to refine setups and improve processes.
What You Bring:
5+ years of CNC machining experience, with a strong emphasis on complex setups and first-run parts.
Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, GD&T, and setup sheets.
Strong understanding of machine offsets, tool presetting, and basic G/M code.
Experience with multi-axis machining or live tooling.
Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiar with the use of precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers.
Solid understanding of lean manufacturing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and interpret process plans, and blueprints to determine necessary machining, dimensional specifications, and operating requirements.
Utilizes various types of inspection instruments to check work per print.
Completes necessary job-related paperwork to include part identification, inspection documents, and production log.
Perform basic equipment maintenance: proper coolant levels, filters, fan operation, cleans the machine, etc.

Support all TTI/FSS Company Safety Policies to ensure they are followed, and personnel and property are kept safe
Read technical drawings and guide in the set-up of machines in accordance with these blueprints
Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly
Program and oversee quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
Consider tools required to cut materials and program machines accordingly
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with the machines as they arise
Additional Duties:
Additional responsibilities or duties may be required as needed in support of company operations.

Teamwork is essential in this position and the Programmer must have a positive attitude and be able to work effectively with all departments, managers, and staff

Should have a positive and professional attitude

Position Summary
In support of the Mission, Vision and Values of SyBridge Technologies Group of Companies, the CNC Programmer/Machinist (Lathe) is responsible for the daily operations, to include the set-ups, programming, maximizing of the machine utilization, as well as the unattended time. In this role, the CNC Machinist (Lathe) reports to the Job Leader as well as the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Ability to program live tooling and subspindles
* Use tools and machinery provided; program, setup and operate the lathe machines using MasterCAM software
* Maximizing machine utilization and unattended time
* Follow router plan (work with manufacturing on any changes)
* Inspection paperwork filled out, verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure first time quality
* Record and report all errors and out of tolerance deviations to manufacturing Job Leader
* Schedule preventative maintenance
* Monitor tool inventory
* Training and motivation
* Cleanliness of area
* Assist Manufacturing Engineer/ Job Leader in planning out routers when needed
* Travel when required by Sybridge
* Mandatory overtime when and if required by Sybridge
* Proficiency in reading and understanding quality manuals and procedures
Qualifications
* Eight (8) years of related experience with CNC Lathes
* Four (4)- Five (5) years of related experience with MasterCAM or equivalent programming
* Certification, college degree, high school diploma and/or equivalent experience in Mold Manufacturing environment
* Ability to multitask using multiple machines
* Ability to perform under pressure and work independently
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required
* Ability to ensure quality standards are met
* Strong attention to detail is required
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
* Proficient in time management and communication skills
