The service center machinist is a skilled and precise manual machinist who will set up and operate machinery to alter, repair or machine parts, equipment, and tools. The service center machinist will work well under minimal supervision. You must understand how to read mechanical blueprints, perform calculations, calibrate, maintain machinery, and make cuts with precision to create products that meet CFI quality standards.
