Submitting required number of continuous improvement ideas. 5. Contributes to the overall effectiveness of the company by: Channeling problems and/or complaints to appropriate person for resolution. The CNC Machinist for ProMach's HMC division contributes to the success of the company by manufacturing parts according to drawings, maintaining raw material inventory in accordance with inventory control policies, and maintaining machinery through proper preventative maintenance. Are you passionate about this work? * Operating & Programming Haas CNC mill and lathe machines safely and productively * Ability to do your own set ups and produce quality parts from drawings with minimal supervision. * Plans machining by studying detailed/complex blueprints and work orders; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD & T) * Download/edits programs by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches. Calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry and trigonometry; proving part programs. * Verifies settings by measuring positions, first run part and sample work pieces. * Partner with engineering on R & D projects * Maintain Quality Control through inspections * Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly What's in it for you?
