About the role: As the Lead Machinist/Shift Supervisor, you will guide the day to day operation of our prototype machine shop in Emeryville. You will produce high quality parts from start to finish, but you will also oversee workflow, assign work to machinists, and ensure that the shop runs safely, efficiently, and with a continuous improvement mindset. You will coordinate resources, train and coach junior machinists, enforce shop standards, and serve as the primary point of contact for engineering teams during your shift. You will think ahead, remove roadblocks, and uphold a culture of excellence in machining, safety, and organization.
