How You'll Make an Impact (responsibilities) * Develop and implement manufacturing processes and CNC programs for complex 4- and 5-axis milling of turbine airfoil components. * Select and design cutting tools, fixturing, and machining strategies to optimize quality, cost, and throughput. * Provide hands-on shop floor support to machinists, troubleshooting and improving machining and related processes. * Collaborate with Product Engineering, Quality, and Operations to resolve non-conformances and improve design manufacturability. * Lead process improvement, development, and qualification projects, including data analysis, DOE, and documentation. * Support production planning activities such as quality control plans, quoting, tooling inventory, and CAPEX initiatives What You Bring (requirements) * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience; 5+ years of proven 4- or 5-axis milling manufacturing experience. * Strong knowledge of conventional machining processes for complex turbine components (blades and vanes). * Proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter CAD/CAM and product data management systems. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications. * Experience with CNC programming (online and offline) and fixture design for milling applications. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with experience working in a production environment.
