Flexible onboarding 4 hr session the week of May 18 - Date and time options will be provided upon hiring Training sessions take place May 26- May 29, 2026, 8am-6pm Museum Camps take place June 1, 2026- August 7, 2026, 8am-4:30pm weekdays daily with half hour unpaid lunch break. The museum camp work week may be 0 - 40 hours*. Weekends and holidays (Memorial Day 5/25, Juneteenth 6/19, Independence Day 7/3) are not required. *Optional overtime may be available daily. Flexibility in different instructor roles; Backup, support, lead, and lunch coverage. Instructors' roles will vary week to week. May be scheduled for up to 3 weeks out of 10 as a backup instructor - filling in for absent staff as needed (hours will be most variable), or Lunch Coverage (25 scheduled hours). Schedules for entire summer will be provided during training week. Must be able to move about the facility while supervising campers and/or moving program materials. The Healthcare Instructor provides instruction for CNA, Phlebotomy and EKG classes for the Multi-Skilled Technician course. Duties include planning lessons, monitoring skills and assessing student progress on an ongoing basis, collecting, recording and reporting all necessary information related to students in a timely manner. Helps keep up to date student records, files and gradebooks. Monday-Friday for a total of 40 hours per week. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide class starting Nov 2025. Attends 5-day in person orientation in Co, Ohio Flexibility with class times are available, days or evenings. We can work with your schedule. Teaches the EKG/Phlebotomy curriculum certified through MedCA, and CNA curriculum according to Ohio Dept of Health. May need to update curriculum to best practices, lesson plans, teaching materials to aid students in developing skills and confidence in healthcare areas. Integrates computer-aided instruction into lessons as appropriate. Teaches hands on skills in the healthcare courses. Attends Clinical sites with students and overseas for safety. Attends skills lab testing for safety of students and volunteers. Collects, records, and reports all necessary information related to students. Attends company-wide engagement and volunteer activities including outreach. Keeps up to date with professional development and CEU's. Requirements: Associate degree in nursing but bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Experience working with adult and High School learners preferred.
