Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times, following all sanitation guidelines..

Proactively collects and removes trash from all areas of the operation.
Ensure waste bin and loading dock area is kept clean and tidy.

Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.
Wash, Wipe, Sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dishwasher.
Wash, Wipe, Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner.
Clean, sanitize and close workstations.
Uses and maintains all equipment according to manufacturer and department guidelines.
Report any maintenance or hazard issues to management.
Assist in light food preparation as directed by manager, such as washing and peeling vegetables.
Always Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

The Club: Oak Hill Country Club is a 36-hole facility located in Rochester NY. Both championship courses are designed by storied architect Donald Ross. The East Course is consistently ranked as a top 25 course in the country and known as one of the greatest venues for championship golf. With the success of the 2023 PGA Championship, Oak Hill has been selected to host the 2027 U.S. Amateur on both courses. The Oak Hill team is looking to fill intern positions for the summer of 2026.
Grounds Intern Position Summary:
Oak Hill seeks students who want to take their career and passion for turf management to the next level. Interns who are willing to learn and dedicate their time to our program will gain the skills and knowledge of turf management at the highest level. We pride ourselves on teamwork, embracing our motto "Be the Best," delivering championship conditions daily for our membership.
We are looking to grow our team and mentor young turf professionals who will one day become successful superintendents nationwide using the knowledge they've gained through our program. In the past 20 years, 11 Superintendents have been placed across the country and have climbed the ranks of the organization. They have all moved into their own superintendent roles.

* Under the guidance of the Golf & Grounds leadership team, participate in the planning, execution, and follow-up of all agronomic practices.
* Assist in all aspects of maintaining championship-level golf courses.

* Experience-based knowledge of how we manage both USGA Bent grass greens and Poa/Bent push-up greens.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail; ability to multi-task
Basic liquor, cocktails, beer, and wine knowledge
Serves food items consistent with Club standards
Learn member names and personally recognize members and guests
Be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
Education and Experience:
Prior experience as a bartender or server is preferred
Prior experience at a Golf Club or Country Club is preferred
Must have weekday, weekend and holiday availability.
