Job Description CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring immediately for Class A CDL drivers in Houston, TX! *This is not a typical dock to dock Class A driving position. The Delivery Driver works collaboratively as part of the Operations team. You will be responsible for loading, delivering, and installing furniture at Tradeshow and Event venues. Help us create memorable celebrations by delivering furniture to festivals, weddings, corporate events, or even the Superbowl! Pay: $25 / hour Schedule: Schedule will vary based on the needs of the business, weekends are required Responsibilities • Loading Trucks: Inspect furniture to ensure acceptable condition. Load truck safely to protect products from damage during transport. Ensure accurate loading order of items to meet delivery specifications. • Operations Planning & Communication: Attend pre-delivery meetings to review logistics, timelines, and client expectations, contributing to smooth and successful event execution. Maintain regular communication with the operations team and/or district service representatives to report and/or resolve any issues and ensure efficient operations. • Truck inspections: Complete Pre and post trip truck inspections. Clean and prep trucks for future shifts. • Documentation and service logs: Complete all required written documentation. Effectively operate an electronic logging device and accurately maintain all records of duty as determined by FMCSA. • Driving: Drive tractor-trailers, box trucks, or sprinter vans on delivery routes for company benefit in a safe and lawful manner. • Deliveries: Install and assemble furniture at tradeshow or event venues based on floor plans or client instructions, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and aesthetic presentation. Clean, touch up, or perform repairs as needed. Use show site mobile app to ensure and document accurate delivery. • Pick-ups: Inspect furniture for any customer-inflicted damage, load in trucks. Ensure no product is left behind at venues. • Provide onsite customer service: Interact professionally with clients during deliveries and setups, addressing questions or concerns and ensuring a positive experience. • Supervise temporary labor: Instruct temporary associates how and where to deliver, pickup, load, or unload products onsite. Ensure that work is being performed as per the clients' requests and safely. • Perform warehouse duties as needed: Manually load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, and docks. Put items away and organize within the warehouse. Unbox & clean products. • Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent 21 years of age or older Valid and current Class A driver's license in the state of residency A minimum of 12 months professional experience driving a tractor-trailer; 2 years of experience preferred Physically able and willing to move furniture indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions; ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner Ability to comply with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration regulations Per FMSCA Regulations: Drivers must read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records. Ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate, which includes passing a physical and drug screening Ability to successfully pass a road test based on FMCSA/CORT requirements Acceptable MVR per CORT's Safe Driving Standards

The Shine Lab LLC is seeking reliable, motivated, and professional Independent Contractor Delivery Drivers to complete local deliveries using their own personal vehicles. This contract-based 1099 position offers flexible scheduling, unlimited earning potential, and consistent daily routes. As an Independent Contractor Delivery Driver, you will pick up orders from designated retail store locations and deliver them directly to customers' homes. All deliveries are local, drop-off-only, with no installation, assembly, or special handling required. Drivers typically complete 12-15 stops per day. Responsibilities Pick up packaged orders from the designated store location. Deliver items safely, efficiently, and professionally to customer homes. Verify all delivery details and route information before leaving the store. Maintain communication with dispatch for updates or issues as needed. Ensure all deliveries are completed within designated timeframes. Provide exceptional customer service and represent The Shine Lab professionally. Compensation Drivers average $500-$700 per day. $200 daily minimum guaranteed. Weekly earnings average $3,000-$4,200. Pay is per stop (not hourly). Drivers typically complete 12-15 stops per day. On-Time Delivery Bonuses available for maintaining a 95%+ weekly on-time rate. Weekly settlements after two week waiting period. Contract Requirements: Must have a qualifying personal vehicle: Sedan Minivan Pickup truck Small cargo van Must carry active auto insurance (TSL covers all additional insurance needed). Must be able to work as a 1099 independent contractor (not an employee). Must have a valid driver's license and a clean, reliable vehicle. Must be able to lift, carry, and transport packages as required for deliveries (50lbs or more). Must have a smartphone capable of running TSL's delivery app. QUALIFICATIONS: Must own, lease, rent, or otherwise have reliable access to a vehicle suitable for deliveries (currently accepting contractors operating sedans, minivans, pickup trucks, or small cargo vans).
