Responsibilities The Credit Policy Specialist is responsible for developing, writing, and publishing credit guidelines for Spring EQ, with a strong emphasis on Non-QM and alternative lending products. This role supports the organization by researching and analyzing agency, investor, and proprietary Non-QM requirements, maintaining policy alignment with industry updates, and assisting internal teams-including sales management, processing, underwriting, and closing-with policy interpretation. The specialist ensures that underwriting guidelines and credit policies are clearly understood and consistently implemented across all departments, particularly for complex Non-QM scenarios.
