The technician must demonstrate technical skills and tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration, repair and QA of x-ray, imaging, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy, and imaging-related systems typically found in Radiology, Surgery and Cardiology. Technicians in this position must be exceptionally customer focused with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. They must be able to prioritize service calls appropriately and adhere to Mayo policy and procedure. The technician must adhere to rules, regulations, and policies regarding radiation safety, stored energy safety, and contingency plans in the event of equipment failure.
