MSPCC, a division of Eliot is currently in search of a Foundation Relations Associate with experience researching, writing, and editing programmatic materials, and synthesizing information and data provided by multiple contributors. This individual should have the a bility to work independently and as part of a team. Being comfortable functioning in a fast-paced environment, able to set priorities, handle several projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines are all required.
This is a hybrid position with in person office and remote work.

Responsibilities:

+ Write and edit corporate and foundation grant proposals to fund The NAN Project, a division of Eliot, that works to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention programs for young people using a peer-to-peer model.

+ Work with agency staff at all levels to coordinate proposals and projects.

+ Schedule and prepare timely reports on program progress as required by funders.

+ Identify potential corporate and foundation prospects and monitor state and federal RFPs as they are issued. Initiate new relationships with foundation prospects not currently engaged with the agency.

+ Develop budgets with the finance department for grant requests.

+ Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of current agency foundations and prospects, assuming primary responsibility for retention and growth.

+ Work on other writing and editing projects as needed.

+ Assist the Director of Foundation Relations in writing and editing state and federal grant proposals as well as other program grant proposals.

+ Support the Development team by performing other tasks and duties as requested.

+ Responsible for promoting and upholding the principles of Corporate Compliance and the ECHS Corporate Compliance program. Adhere to all ECHS policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct, Consumer Confidentiality, and HIPAA.

+ Act in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner, following all applicable ECHS policies, state/federal laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.

+ Respect diversity of others by demonstrating and modeling cultural awareness and sensitivity at all times.

+ Perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum two (2) years writing experience.

+ Experience researching, writing, and editing proposals with data provided by multiple contributors.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Comfortable functioning in a fast-paced environment, able to set priorities, handle several projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Interest in meeting the needs of children, youth and families from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds struggling with poverty and related issues.

+ Must be proficient in English and possess and convey excellent verbal and written communication skills.
