Registered Dental Hygienist-Vermont
Roligo Dental
Dental hygienist job in South Burlington, VT
Full time Hygienist with $18k Sign on Bonus
The hygiene team has six main areas of focus: preventive care, periodontal therapy, patient education, patient experience, treatment acceptance, and retention. We believe in preventing cavities and gum disease before it happens. We know that a well-informed patient makes healthy decisions; that's why we use visual aids and discuss the link between oral and systemic health, and speak in language and metaphors that patients can understand. When it comes to oral hygiene, we never want to lecture; when patients collaborate on a plan for their homecare, we know they are more likely to stick to it. We measure periodontal health by recording probing depths over 4mm, and our hygienists collaborate with our dentists to arrest disease, and restore health. Lastly, the most important piece of the puzzle is the relationships we create with our patients. Diagnostically, clinically, and emotionally, we aim to consistently deliver a 5-star experience of wholistic care.
