THE ROLE: Designer/Animator (Temporary) A+E Networks Production Operations is looking for an experienced Motion Designer/Animator to join our remote team.

The ideal person will be creative, innovative, and have a versatile, collaborative approach to all motion, type, and logo design projects. They will create compelling, fresh design ideas and typography solutions that will help brand our Networks. They will need to be a self-starter, able to problem solve both technical and creative challenges, with the ability to find and explore solutions as the project progresses. The ideal candidate would be someone who considers themselves both an animator and a designer who takes ownership for the projects they work on and have a productive and positive attitude with clients and fellow design team members. They must be comfortable working under tight deadlines and are extremely organized with project files/ folder naming, and adept in sharing projects/toolkits with fellow designers.

In this position you will perform a variety of duties for the Network's Marketing Division supporting the promotional needs of multiples shows airing on our Networks.
This position reports to the Sr. Designer and works closely with producers, planners, and other graphic designers to incorporate design assets into motion graphics and Pixel Power setups.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)
+ Collaborate with Art Director / Senior Designer and other colleagues, to service marketing initiatives for multiple shows.
+ Participate in creative processes and deliver innovative solutions for daily shows, launching campaigns, tentpoles, and special campaigns.
+ Troubleshoot and provide solutions to the creation of templates and Pixel Power shared services.
+ Keep files and projects in order and up to date.
+ Adhere to brand guidelines, while pushing creative boundaries
YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)
+ Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in designing with basic knowledge of technical environments.
+ Ability to work pragmatically within a dynamic environment and rapidly develop ideas and creative requests without sacrificing quality whilst maintaining attention to detail .
+ Basic knowledge of scripting and coding.
