**Position Description**
The marketing coordinator will report to the proposal manager and work within our overall Project Planning and Development Group. The marketing coordinator will be responsible for developing and preparing the responses to multiple simultaneous RFQs and RFPs by overseeing the end-to-end process of project proposal production. This comprehensive development process will include all the parts and pieces of a proposal, with an emphasis on creative and accurate. The marketing coordinator should demonstrate a proven ability to foster synergy across a diverse team of design and construction professionals.
**Position Qualifications:**
+ 4-year degree in journalism, communications, marketing, English, or related field of study.
+ Self-starter with proactive problem-solving capabilities.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks when faced with multiple deadlines.

The Development and Communications Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the work of the Development and Communications team and Chrysalis' CEO. Additionally, this position acts as support and liaison for the Board of Directors to the CEO and VP of Development & Communications (VPD&C). The Coordinator reports to the VPD&C, providing support to ensure that administrative functions for the department, including meeting scheduling, office room reservations, ordering and maintaining office supplies, managing departmental correspondence and the handling of department mail, and processing expense reports in the most efficient and timely manner. This position also provides critical support to the Development & Communications team sub-teams: Marketing & Communications; Individual Giving; Institutional Giving; and Special Events.
Duties and Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Board of Directors Liaison
* Support CEO and the Board of Directors by attending meetings, taking notes, communicating Board gifts to the Database Manager, compiling, and distributing the annual Board Handbook, and keeping a log of Board giving
* Prepare and write key donor correspondence including communications with the Board of Directors and external supporters
Senior Leadership support
* Act as primary support and assistant to the CEO
* Provide support to the VPD&C including drafting letters, tracking expenses, and creating miscellaneous reports as needed
* Submit monthly expense reports for CEO and VPD&C
* Manage meetings calendar for CEO
Marketing & Communications
* Assist Director of Marketing & Communications with newsletters, social media posts, and public relations
* Support Marketing & Communications team through use of Canva and other consumer graphic design software
* Support the year-end appeal and special gift promotions and support donor mailings
