Within this position, you'll be a strategic partner to teams across the organization. Your main focus in this area is to dive into data -it's all about operational metrics! You'll identify patterns and trends that others might miss, essentially telling a story with the data to reveal opportunities for improvement and growth. You'll build clear reports and dashboards that make this information accessible, helping people understand the impact of their work and make informed decisions. Your analytical skills will be crucial for finding and highlighting where technology is truly making a difference. Beyond the data, you'll also be deeply involved in the technology that generates much of that information and impacts people's daily lives. You'll play a vital role in implementing and supporting instructional technologies and various software applications, ensuring they are utilized effectively.
What You'll Do:
Serve as a data and analytical consultant for key internal stakeholders by developing plans and analyzing data in support of various initiatives.
Gather data from applications, databases, APIs, or external sources.
Integrate data from multiple applications into unified datasets, ensuring compatibility and accessibility.
Develop and maintain metric reports and dashboards for measuring effectiveness; identifying and analyzing patterns and trends in both simple and complex data sets for values and new opportunities; and identifying business impact of existing and new technologies.
Validate data inputs from applications to maintain quality, addressing inconsistencies or errors.
Identify needs, requirements, and pricing for the use of technology and the ongoing monitoring of these tools, software products, and platforms.
Define requirements and scope for project implementations and work closely with programs and departments on technology integration during planning and design; consult with the appropriate liaisons, both individually and in teams, on established standards for development, implementation, and deployment.
Ensure the effective use of existing applications and deliver new, timely, high-quality solutions.
Develop, promote, and provide guidance, training, and support for current and future technologies and tools across the organization by developing technical and end-user documentation, knowledge-based articles, technical notes, end-user training documents, etc.
Introduce and incorporate appropriate technology for instruction, handling support issues, and leading employee training on both digital and non-digital platforms.
Work closely with the Director of IT to implement device and software deployment and migration plans.
Provide second- and third-level support services to employees for complex technical and configuration issues related to all applications.
Recognize and escalate difficult technical issues within the organization to external vendors and work with support and/or product development personnel to troubleshoot and work around product issues.
Stay up to date on all the latest technologies.
Adhere to company-established security procedures and confidentiality.
Maintain 24/7 availability and provide after-hours support as needed with participation in the on-call rotation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need for the Role:
Bachelor's Degree required.
4 years of experience in Information Technologies or another related area with experience supporting various applications and technologies for a non-profit, healthcare, and/or education environment.
Demonstrated experience with call tracking/ticket management systems, varying non-cloud and cloud-based applications and technologies.
Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful with an ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present and speak in front of groups.
Current, valid NYS driver's license with the ability to travel to various locations.
Dexterity to work with standard office equipment.
Ability to maneuver and position oneself to install, remove, and inspect various equipment at different heights.
Ability to lift, move, and transport varying IT equipment up to 50 pounds.

The Role: DDI's Residential Director is responsible for all program oversight for their assigned caseload. You will work closely with your management team and DDI Administration to ensure that your programs are providing high quality and meaningful supports to your residents. Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of advanced leadership experience in an OPWDD program and a Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field.
What You'll Do:
Oversee all program operations of the agency's adult residential programs, including Day Hab for 24-hour program models.
Be responsible for the hiring and management of sufficient staff to carry out the programs' objectives.
Ensure adequate training is provided for staff which results in excellent employee competencies.
Be responsible for developing annual budgets for each program service and for managing the fiscal status of each to ensure budgetary goals are achieved.

Who we are:
Developmental Disabilities Institute, DDI, is one of the largest providers of care to children and adults with Autism, developmental disabilities and other special needs. DDI has been a part of Long Island for over 50 years serving over 1,500 children and adults with Autism, other developmental disabilities and special needs. DDI provides innovative and expansive services to our population through various educational settings, residential services, day habilitation programs and vocational services.
Transporters operate DDI vehicles in compliance with the Department of Motor Vehicle, NYS Traffic and Agency regulations while transporting developmental disabled individuals.
Please note that a schedule of 25 hours a week is eligible for health insurance and paid time off benefits through the agency. Also, there may be an opportunity to pick up additional hours in other DDI programs.
Available Shifts: Mon-Fri 7am-10:30am/2pm-4:30pm

Teaching Assistants are offered on-going trainings and support provided by board certified behavior analysts and other qualified professionals to enhance and maximize career growth. Our school programs operate on a 12-month calendar. This is a great opportunity to get valuable experience and knowledge working in a classroom and community setting following the principles of applied behavior analysis.
Salary Range: $22.25-$26.70/hour
Shift available: Mon-Fri 8:30am-2pm or 9:30am-3pm {Part Time}
What you'll do at DDI
Assist the teacher in directly implementing IEP's.
Collect student behavior and performance data as directed by the teacher.
Assist in conducting basic instructional activities and in helping with the safety and supervision of students.
Accept assignments in varying classes, in accordance with the need of the program to provide proper ratio in class groupings.
Supervise the Substitute Teacher Assistant in the Teacher's absence.
Assist in student arrival from the busses and dismissal to the busses.
Accompany assigned students if they leave the building for programmatic or emergency reasons.
Be familiar and act in accordance with all policies contained in the Children's Day Services Handbook for Staff.
Participate in performance reviews/discussions.

Teaching Assistant 27.5(DDITA) must complete requirements outlined by NYSED and apply for Teaching Assistant Level I certification within 6 months of employment and receive certification within 1 year. This certification requires: Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse and Maltreatment, School Violence Prevention and Intervention, Dignity for All Students Act, NYSATAS Exam, Fingerprint Clearance, Application for TA certification and High School diploma
What you must be able to do
Must demonstrate an interest in working with students with disabilities.
Experience working with children and/or individuals with disabilities is preferable.
Must attend and pass in-services and trainings.
Must demonstrate good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
A minimum of 9 college credits with one year of hire is required.
