The Distribution Representative is responsible for packing, assembling, processing orders, operating machinery and other functions as needed. Working internally with customer service representatives and peers to meet client needs. The successful candidate will also verify and keep records on incoming/outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.

Qualifications WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Locate stock and fill orders.
Check outgoing material for accurate descriptions and quantities based on purchase orders.
Prepare required reports.
Use handheld Scanner/ADC device to locate and add or deduct from inventory.
Use computer to confirm order status.
Moderate to heavy lifting.
Maintain quality and safety standards.
Maintain good housekeeping.
Regular attendance is expected and required.
Perform other duties required.

WHAT YOU NEED:
High school diploma/GED preferred. Minimum of 0-1 year of related experience.
Acute detail and accuracy skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, both internally and externally

Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

The National Theatre for Children (NTC) is a touring theatre company that performs at thousands of elementary, middle, and high schools across the country each year. All of our programming is FREE to schools. These programs are coordinated by the School Communications department, who, as a team, promotes and schedules these programs. School Communications Distribution Representatives organize and assemble print materials for our scheduled performances for schools nationwide.
Principal Responsibilities:
Execute distribution of printed marketing, education and activation school materials.

Assemble printed program materials to prepare packages for shipment
- Determine correct printed student materials to include per each NTC program
- Print necessary cover letters
- Run labels

Prepare mailings for postal pick-up
- Trifold mailing contents, stuff and label envelopes
- Run envelopes through mailing machine to add postage
- Sticker postcards with labels and stamps
- Report regularly to Distribution Manager on workload progress, issues and updates.
Work Schedule/Pay: This position is available on a part time, seasonal basis from now December 16th, 2022 requires 30 hours of work per week, Monday-Friday, between 9:00 AM 6:00 PM Central Time. Scheduling is flexible. Starting pay is $16/hour.

The primary function of Distributor Sales Specialist is to manage the assigned customer base to increase sales in the local marketplace and provide sales and technical assistance to distributors and internal personnel.
