WORK SCHEDULE Overnight early morning hours, starting at 1am/2am. Number of Shift hours vary by route. Holidays and Weekends a MUST. This is an entry level non-exempt position that primarily requires driving. Under the direction of the Distribution Center Manager (DCM) or the Assistant Distribution Manager (ADM), performs the manual labor aspects of distribution center operations along with assigned driving tasks. JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Local Linehaul Driver Reports to: Director of National Logistics/Logistics Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Fortune East is seeking a Local Linehaul Driver to join our team. You will drive a predetermined delivery route, which allows for a nine to five schedule. While you will work one or two overnights a week, this route is ideal for someone with OTR trucking experience who wants to get home at night and on weekends. Depending on your assigned route, you will be responsible for either live load or drop and hook trailers. Applicants must have a Class A CDL. Doubles endorsement is preferred, and we expect you to earn HAZMAT and tanker endorsements upon hire. Responsibilities Drive predetermined delivery route. Make deliveries on schedule.
