JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Available to work beyond the traditional 8-hour workday; available to work Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays, to meet operational needs. Well services work is generally performed during daylight hours, Monday through Friday, occasionally on Saturday and or Sunday. Certain operations cannot, however, be completed during a single daylight period and must be continued without interruption, over several consecutive days. Such operations are referred to as "24-hour operations," and require two or more shifts, crews, to operate the rig. Able to work at heights up to or greater than 50 feet. * Dependability is imperative. Reporting for work at the prescribed location and time, dressed for deployment to work, is essential. JOB INFORMATION Job Title: Driver Job Code: 20000641 Effective Date: 12/18/2023 Job Family: Operations FLSA Status: Exempt Job Function: Transportation Job Level: Skilled II JOB SUMMARY Analyzes transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery of the organization's products. Reviews proposals and makes recommendations for modifications in rates and transportation regulations. Evaluates freight classifications, tariff rates and operating efficiency to ensure the proper delivery of products. Plans and coordinates fleet operations, including acquisition, scheduling, maintenance service and repair, and disposal of trucks, and hires common carriers (third-party transportation companies) as appropriate. While this aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the role, it may not detail every task or responsibility required. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, and vision of the organization. JOB REQUIREMENTS Asset Utilization and Cost Control Process Improvement Project Management Resource Planning & Optimization Systems Thinking Troubleshooting Receives from Truck Dispatcher delivery schedule. Organizes for delivery route and makes all required preparations for delivery. Calls dispatcher or leaves message on code a phone after each delivery. Perform predelivery trip check on tank truck following Department of Transportation safety specifications, fuels, check truck for general operating requirements, and ascertains that all required equipment is available and in good operating condition. Drives a tank truck & trailer or tractor/ trailer to customer's location; connects hose to tank and opens valves, reads gauges, record amounts delivered and leaves delivery ticket receipt with customer.
