Primary Responsibilities:

Design & development of firm's proprietary, high performance FI E-Trading platform encompassing fixed income products.
Work alongside traders and quantitative analyst to specify and build out real-time trading applications that electronically execute orders across multiple ECNs.
Work with business management team and desk heads to drive project requirement and prioritization
Work with support team on Dealer and Client market gateway setup on the ION platform
Drive implementation and design with emphasis on high availability, scalability and reusability
Work with other Fixed Income front office team lead to promote framework reusability across all business
Balance time to market (client delivery) with proper governance, compliance and audit mandates

Education

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related

Required Background:

4+ year experience in E-Trading space
Must be able to communicate effectively with the Rates Desk
In-depth knowledge of Dealer-to-Client market protocol (TradeWeb, Bloomberg and MarketAxess)
In-depth knowledge of broker market structure BTEC, Virtu, Fenic, DWAS etc.
In-depth knowledge of building auto-quoter, auto-hedger
In-depth knowledge of US Rates Product Offering (Treasury, Swap and Agency)
Knowledge of important E-Trading Metrics (Hit-Rates, Fill-Rate, etc.) and understanding of leveraging BI Reporting tool such as Qlik or PowerBI
General Fixed Income Pricing and Analytic knowledge a must
Strong design, coding, testing and debugging skills
Strong experience in front office trading system with emphasis in E-Trading
Programming Languages - Java a must, Python
Strong multithreaded programming experience is a must
Knowledge of ION is a must, Broadway API a plus
Knowledge of KDB/Q a plus
OS - Linux, Windows
