Overview
The Janitor is responsible for cleaning services in various commercial facilities, typically consisting of common areas in designated buildings including hallways, bathrooms, conference rooms, and offices. The intent of this position description is to include duties, responsibilities, or qualifications necessary to identify and evaluate the job but does not necessarily include all details of the job.
Pay: $21.93 + 5.09 (PILB up to 40 hours weekly) = $27.02/hour

Responsibilities
Physical Labor and Stamina: Position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, regular handling, grasping, kneeling, and carrying. Must stand for long periods of time and walk through buildings to perform cleaning tasks. Position requires bending or twisting of the body and repetitive movements of the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers. Constant use of vision and mental alertness is required.
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, site rules and company procedures. Maintain clean and unobstructed common areas, aisleways, entrances and exits.
Administrative and Training: Complete and return required administrative paperwork as directed, (e.g., timesheets, vacation slips, classroom and computer-based training, log sheets, service records etc.) Maintain current required training or certifications as required to perform the job.
Cleaning: Follow directions for: cleaning methods, cleaning product use and storage, proper safe use of tools and equipment. Ensure all work complies with task specifications, safety standards and quality expectations.
Communication: Communicate effectively regarding work progress, promptly notify supervision of any challenges. Perform daily equipment and facility inspections and report problems.
Perform emergency procedures, support plumbing cleanup, and other duties as assigned or as requested.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, at least one (1) year work experience.
Valid U.S. driver's license and a good driving record.
Physically fit with good coordination and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Good attendance, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Basic math, written and oral communication skills.
Basic computer experience including email, payroll time entry, webpage navigation and online training.
Work safely with minimal supervision, good understanding of safety protocols, follow written procedures and verbal instructions, perform administrative and manual work, and manage time to complete assignments.
Ability to follow oral, written, and visual instructions, exercise good judgement to complete assignments on time.
Preferred Responsibilities/Requirements
At least two (2) years of relevant cleaning or maintenance experience, or technical training.
Proficiency with Microsoft products.
Knowledge of applicable State and Federal laws and company policies and procedures.
Safety training equivalent to OSHA 10, and familiar with laboratory operations is a plus.

Overview
An R&D Technician, under general supervision and/or using detailed procedures/work instructions, safely performs a variety of mechanical tasks in support of R&D projects. Work involves installation, modification, preventive, and corrective maintenance of R&D mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
Installation of Swagelok fractional tubing, insulation, and tubing components such as valves, regulators, and gauges.
Use Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) to install threaded and flanged piping and other process equipment.
Installation of Autoclave Engineers cone and threaded tubing and tubing components
Set up and perform pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure testing.
Perform non-code welding to fabricate or repair non-critical items and provide custom sheet metal forming/work.
Use machine shop equipment such as a Horizontal / Vertical Bandsaw, electronic belt sander, and metal shear to cut metal.
Performs compressed gas cylinder deliveries.
Perform penetrations and securing materials to assemble/erect structures, all per policy.
Perform hoisting and rigging of large equipment.
Install common stock materials such as fasteners, struts, sheet metal, etc.
Operate forklift, manlifts, skid steer loader, etc.
Use Lock-out Tag-out (LOTO) plans to ensure work is performed safely.
Maintaining facilities in clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Collaborate effectively with other team members to resolve issues and ensure quality adherence principals are being met.
Adhere to NETL SARS policies and procedures while conducting work duties.

Qualifications

Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the safety and direction of staff assigned to the functional areas of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fleet management, grounds maintenance, and/or other operations. Coordinates the efficient maintenance of facilities, including installation, modification, monitoring, operation, testing, and servicing of equipment and systems in a cost-effective manner. This includes daily supervision, monitoring, and coaching of employees' expectations to ensure a safe and productive workforce in accordance with contract task requirements and applicable policies and procedures. Focuses on employee safety, work planning, corrective action program support, training, resource scheduling and planning, procurement of materials and equipment for installations, and performance management.
Responsibilities
Management and Leadership: Provide daily supervision, work direction, and guidance for the union workforce assigned to the functional areas of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fleet management, grounds maintenance, and/or other operations. Perform daily assignment of tasks and perform field walkdowns to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Interview and hire personnel, assess skills and implement training. Participate in disciplinary actions and union grievance meetings.
Safety and Compliance: Conduct routine toolbox talk safety meetings and implement safety training. Complete activity hazard analysis and work plans necessary to communicate hazards and mitigate risk to employees. Participate in facility inspections, incident investigations, and occurrence reporting.
Planning and Scheduling: Supervise and coordinate maintenance, installation, modification, monitoring, operation, repairing, testing, and servicing of equipment and systems. Conduct Plan-of-the-Day meetings with technicians and applicable personnel to discuss work assignments and associated hazards to mitigate risks to the employee(s), the equipment and the environment.
Technical and Maintenance: Provide technical data and evaluation for components, equipment, and systems consistent with engineering plans, layout, and contract requirements. Support engineering proposal development, provide input and technical content review.
Administrative: Monitor, review, and approve employee time sheet entries. Ensure hours are recorded correctly to the correct project codes. Complete material purchase requests, track deliveries, and ensure that they are staged at job sites to maximize technician efficiency. Provides direct support to the Project Manager with the development of contract deliverables such as periodic work planning and status reports.
Initiate and participate in employee disciplinary process in compliance with established policies and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED/TASC/ HiSET with at least five (5) years relevant experience, and general industry OSHA 10 safety training or equivalent.
Proven experience as a supervisor who has demonstrated the ability to lead and manage teams.
