BAYADA Home Health Care electronics associate job description

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Electronic Referral Intake Associate to join our Customer Care Center. As a Referral Intake Associate you will receive and process new referrals being sent in electronically by facilities, medical professionals, and insurance case managers for BAYADA service offices nationwide. Use your top notch customer service skills to help ensure that referrals are handled in a timely and caring manner, so that our clients can receive the best possible care.

Hours: Must have flexibility to work either five (5) eight (8) hour days, or four (4) ten (10) hour days as required, to include 1 weekend day, every week. Training hours are routinely Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, until the new Associate is ready to transition to the permanent schedule. Permanent schedule will be 5, 8 hours days, to include one weekend day OR 4, 10 hour days, to include one weekend day, ongoing.
Responsibilities

The Referral Intake Associate will facilitate the coordination of referrals and communications for BAYADA Service offices. Duties will include the following:

* Receive, document & process incoming referrals

* Ensure all referrals are thorough, accurate and complete

* Follow up with our internal service offices to ensure timely responses to referral sources

* Function as facilitator between Case Managers, Client Services Managers, Clinical Nurse Managers and Field Nurses

* Communicate payer information to our internal Insurance Verification team

* Provide excellent customer service at all times

The ability to cultivate positive and long-term relationships with referral sources is integral to success in the position.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree or several years of directly related experience

* 1-2 years prior work experience (can include internships); Customer service, call center, contact center, health care experience a plus!
* Clinical/medical intake experience preferred, not required

* Strong computer skills
* Excellent communication and technology skills

* Candidates that are not local to Parsippany should have worked remotely before, and/or have proven success in a similar position.

The Statistical Modeling and Development team as part of Barclays' Front Office trading, creates eTrading (agency and internal algorithms) models, machine learning models, undertakes other data science and software development projects. The team partners with Sales & Trading, Technology, Risk and other control functions to deliver industry-leading algorithms for automated pricing, risk management and execution across all asset classes. What to expect

As an Electronic Trading intern, you'll take your first steps in the extremely challenging and fascinating world of algorithmic trading & data science. Working with a broad spectrum of colleagues, you'll learn how data science fits into our business. What's more, you'll help our team to turn mathematical and algorithmic ideas into trading reality.

Our program runs in two streams - Research and Engineering. This allows us to align you with problems tailored to your skill sets and interests. In the Research stream, you will spend time modeling research, prototyping your theory and testing how it can function in various scenarios. The Engineering stream will allow you to code and learn how theory is converted into practice. Your pieces of code could even be delivered into a production style environment.

In this intensely computing-based role, you could get involved in:

Role Description:

The EMR and Software Support Associate is responsible for the day-to-day management of Oak Street Health's Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Greenway Primesuite. This role will be responsible for managing, implementing, and training Oak Street's new team members on Greenway functionality and workflows, as well as providing ongoing training and support for team members who are already using Greenway in our clinics. Success requires high levels of problem solving ability, a high degree of resourcefulness, and excellent communications skills. Specific role responsibilities include:


Core Responsibilities:

  • Oak Street internal expert on clinical and service team workflows

  • Champion the maintenance and optimization of Oak Street EMR

  • Facilitate training and update new hire training, as needed

  • Participate in new clinic openings and continued onsite support

  • Provider remote support to all OSH clinics through a ticketing system along with other team members

  • Identify project issues and possible enhancements to resolve or escalate, as appropriate

  • Review and test changes, interfaces, and enhancements with each planned EMR upgrade

  • Maintain constant communication with clinics for feedback and enhancements
