About the Clinician's Workday
Providers must cross-credential at the surgery center. The position offers a $400 weekly car rental or mileage stipend and a $165 daily lodging stipend. Case types include General Surgery, GYN, Bariatric, Spine, OB, Ortho (with blocks), and occasional Neuro/Head and Pediatric cases. This is a supervision role covering the main OR and surgery centers, with a 1:3 supervision ratio when applicable. There is no overtime, and in-house OB call is preferred. The main OR includes 17 rooms (covering EP/Cath Lab, GI, and IR), with additional rooms at Madison Irving Surgery Center (4), Physician Office Building (4), and Labor & Delivery (3). Charting is primarily on paper, except for pre- and post-op orders, which are entered electronically. Emergency privileging can be completed within 30 days.

Uses Epic charting system; Epic proficiency required or preferred
Provide specialized care for critically ill pediatric patients, including cardiac and complex respiratory cases
May be assigned to float based on individual skill set and hospital needs
Team works in a collaborative environment to provide comprehensive care
Navy blue scrubs required
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
