Making the decision to go it alone as an independent recruiter is both enormously exciting and slightly scary. A bit like doing backflips on a trampoline without a safety net – you’re pretty sure you can do it but you know it’ll hurt if you come down on the wrong side of the mat.
If you’re a normal person you’ve probably asked yourself lots of questions in the lead-up to your decision; What if I haven’t got what it takes? What should I charge? Where will my clients come from?
The last two episodes in our series “How to Build a $100K+ Income as in Independent Recruiter” explored how to get your head and your desk into the $100K zone and how to place a value on your time and and experience.
The next step is to start building your client base. At first, this can seem a bit daunting. But it’s actually not as hard a you might first think.
After all, it’s likely that you have a wide contact list, built up over years as a professional recruiter. You probably have a Facebook page and a LinkedIn profile and you may even have your own website.
Perhaps you’ve kept every business card you’ve ever been given. And I’m sure you multi-task well enough to hold a glass of something in one hand and dish out business cards with the other, all while standing up and talking to people.
The thing is, whether you are a recently liberated recruiter or already have your independent recruiting business up and running, you have all the foundations in place to grow your business.
In the next episode in our webinar series, we’ll show you …
You’ll also have the opportunity to hear first hand how one of the most successful independent recruiters in the RecruitLoop Community has built her business in under 2 years.

If you can’t make either time, we’ll send you an email with the recording and the slides as long as you register.
Hope to see you there!
