Functions in a project engineering technician capacity. Under general direction, supports engineering and design teams by developing and modifying technical deliverables. Utilises digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling) to create, modify, and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables. Provides technical guidance and may offer direction to other engineering professionals and technicians to ensure quality and consistency across project outputs.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Applies knowledge of standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, applicable codes, and client policies and procedures.
May review project requirements and accurately determine the correct format and contents of the required deliverables.
Proactively applies the client Quality Program to deliverables. Demonstrates personal accuracy and supports continuous improvement and change management efforts.
Reviews design inputs to ensure consistency. Assists to ensure deliverables are in compliance with the specific codes and standards suitable for the project.

Capable of handling difficult technical assignments within an area of expertise and can provide technical guidance to other professionals.
Performs design calculations, detailed material quantities and estimates, and records.
May review the deliverables of others.
May define work assignments and maintain schedules.
May program control systems or participate in other plant start-up activities associated with a specialized area of expertise.
Coordinates with other design group personnel to review and exchange project information necessary for design development.
May support field activities. Focuses on the needs of internal clients while utilizing an understanding of external clients' main interests and drivers.
Proactively seeks and shares knowledge of the latest technologies and processes.
May apply judgment and make decisions with respect to deliverables and input interpretation.
Qualifications:
Advanced Autodesk Civil 3D is required with the use of pipe/pressure networks, proposed grading surfaces, and plan and profile development.
Must be familiar with plan & profile drawings, alignments, pipe networks, and grading.
Typically, a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.

Work closely with diagnostic technicians on the production floor to troubleshoot down to the component level when burn-in or functional tests flag errors, and drive rapid resolution of hardware, firmware, or configuration problems
Apply strong problem-solving techniques and use diagnostic tools (logs, Linux command-line utilities, etc.) to isolate issues in both electronic components and the liquid cooling loop
Work with cross functional teams to address corrective actions
Attends team meetings as requested
Uses tools to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.
Support floor test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software
Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer Intern to support our project management team. This role offers hands-on experience in the planning, execution, and closing of engineering projects, including the unique opportunity to independently manage small capital projects from start to finish. The intern will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-End Project Management: Take ownership of small-scale capital projects, typically in the $5,000 to $50,000 range. Manage these projects from initial concept and scope definition through to design, procurement, execution, and final closeout, providing a comprehensive project management experience
* Project Planning & Scheduling: Assist in the development of project timelines, milestones, and schedules for larger projects using project management software
* Documentation & Reporting: Help prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, meeting minutes, and progress reports
* Coordination: Liaise between different teams (e.g., design, construction, procurement) to ensure smooth information flow and coordination of tasks
* Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to the project team, which may include reviewing technical drawings, performing calculations, and researching materials or methods
* Budget & Cost Tracking: Assist in monitoring project expenditures, tracking costs against the budget, and processing invoices and change orders
* Site Activities: Participate in site visits to monitor progress, assist with quality control inspections, and help ensure compliance with safety regulations
* Communication: Attend project meetings and communicate updates to project stakeholders as directed
Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Compensation:
The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $21-24/hr.
